So much to be thankful for. 🍂❤️ What a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend! From Whistler to Abbotsford and everywhere in between, including right here at home. Sunshine, fall colours, pumpkin patches, wonderful food, and most importantly, time with people we love. 🥰

One of the things I’ve come to appreciate most about making a big move is discovering that while you may leave a familiar life behind, you don’t leave behind the possibility of beautiful friendships and meaningful connections.

This weekend was such a lovely reminder of that. Celebrating with dear friends we’ve known for years, alongside wonderful new friends who have already become such a special part of our lives here.

And I think that’s something worth sharing with anyone who’s ever dreamed of moving somewhere new but wondered, “Will I find my people?” Yes. You absolutely can. ❤️

Home isn’t just about where you live. It’s about the life you build and the people you share it with.

Here’s to old friendships, new beginnings, and finding a little more to love about the life we’re building every day. ❤️🏔️

So… where do people go dancing in Squamish? On top of a mountain, of course! 😂🏔️💃

These summer nights at the Sea to Sky Gondola were SUCH a good time. And what I love about this place is how much it brings people together.

For lots of people, the evening starts with a hike up the Sea to Summit Trail, followed by drinks and dancing at the top. Now THAT’S a way to spend a summer evening! 🥾🥂

Their seasonal programming has included mountaintop yoga, social hikes and coffee, fall walks followed by tea, cozy winter music nights, shared meals, and family activities.

The summer music series has wrapped up, but there are other reasons to keep coming back. Check their current calendar to see what’s happening when you visit.

If you’re imagining life near the mountains and water, you might also be wondering, “But will I find my people?”

Community can start with showing up. Joining a walk. Staying for coffee. Getting out on the dance floor, even when you don’t know anyone yet.
Places like this give you somewhere to start. Somewhere to return to. Somewhere a familiar face might eventually become a friend. ❤️

This is Coast Mountain Community.
Would I find you on the dance floor? 👇
