My paint brushes are being given a workout due to the upcoming Northumberland Hills Studio Tour (Sept 12&13). There are lots of things on my mind these days, not only how to solve creative problems but also the plethora of things that accompany tour prep. (Definition of plethora: a very large amount of something, especially a larger amount than you need, want, or can deal with. Yup. Seems about right.) So this mug, a vintage item from Pixel Paper Hearts, is an appropriate vessel for some other art-making items.

that’s a wrap on another incredible @torontostationeryshow 💛✨ I had the most wonderful time chatting with attendees and vendors alike. everyone was so full of energy that it kept me going and the day just honestly flew by! I made some new pals like @arcasian__ after seeing her name pop up all the time on my feed cuz she’s so rad; felt the love and support from @artisan.mrkt who kindly brought around a snack care pack, as well as from fellow card queens @pebblesandcocards who really touched both me and my husband, an otter lover, with their message; got to geek out over @paperpluscloth’s brand new eric small things x papier platz washi stock with @yippee_design, while eunice popped over to my table to show me the newest moomin stamps i narrowly managed to resist!! I even got to shop a few times throughout the day thanks to my amazing husband @mattrorabeck keeping things moving and restocking mystery bags bc they kept selling out! y’all LOVE a mystery bag and I’ll never show up without them again 😂 I feel majorly inspired by you all and so excited to make more colourful and whimsical art in the future. Thank you again @dreyray & @queeniescards for the amazing work you do to bring this show to life & my fellow vendors who I am always honoured to stand alongside🥰 Ps. also debuted baby’s first riso poster as a show exclusive🙌🏻I have some left if anyone would like a TSS memento, send me a DM and we’ll sort it out. to anyone who missed out on the sticker sheets, I’ll be doing a restock before too long 😉 xo
