Summer tour 2025, a most favorite place. Saratoga Springs > the Mothership.

7/27/25 • Phish • SPAC • Saratoga Springs, NY (N3)

Let me start off by saying that Rob and I decided not to do any of the SPAC run when summer tour was announced.

On Sat 7/26, the @phish gods interjected. That morning, I woke up to a DM from an IG follower that said he had 2 x 3-day SPAC passes, but was only able to go N1 (Fri), and did I know anyone who could use the tix for the rest of the weekend, no charge.

I immediately miracled the Sat pair to a friend who’d been striking out with tix for that night. And then I found a Sun ride up and back to SPAC, so that Rob and I could go to the show and still make it back in time for work on Mon. Shout out to @badandbucci and @mittyart, who came to our rescue with transportation!

The show, as you might know, was completely bonkers. Phish wove Tweeprise in and out of both sets and then gave us a first-time-ever Tweezer encore, the latter of which (1) was a seed planted by @sleeping_llama (see his/@jeffkravitz collab post from 7/28/25 for more info) and (2) elicited a taunting “do you get it?” from @jfishman60 upon completion.

The whole show is a must-listen. As if working the Tweeprises into jams 6 separate times wasn’t enough, we also got the longest “Roses” since Big Cypress, amongst many other highlights.

Set I: Buried Alive > Tweezer Reprise > Reba[1] -> Tweezer Reprise > Funky Bitch, Roses Are Free -> Tweezer Reprise > 46 Days, About to Run, Split Open and Melt[2] -> Tweezer Reprise

Set II: Kill Devil Falls[2] > Twist, Golden Age -> Tweezer Reprise -> Boogie On Reggae Woman, You Enjoy Myself -> Tweezer Reprise

E: Tweezer, Harry Hood

[1] Unfinished, no whistling.
[2] Unfinished.

Reba was unfinished & did not contain the whistling ending. Trey teased The Greater Good in Roses. Melt and KDF were also unfinished. The last Tweezer Reprise of the first set contained Split Open and Melt teases by Fish. Trey, Mike, and Page teased The Secret of Life (The Dead Milkmen) in KDF. Tweezer, which was played as an encore for the first time, ended abruptly with a “Do you get it?” sound bite immediately following the song’s conclusion.

⭕ PHANTASY PHISH UPDATE ⭕ Welp, we just closed out the 1st leg of summer tour with a HUGE weekend at SPAC. @page_memeconnell still holds a demanding lead but with 8 shows left in leg 2, it’s still any horse’s race. Right? Right??? 😬

While everyone is still talking about the SPAC N3 RepriseFest, the real highlight of this tour was this crew getting to meet each other in real life at random shows across the country. Jk, it was SPAC N3.

⭕️ PHANTASY PHISH SCORING UPDATE ⭕️

After a big weekend in Austin, we’ve got a race tighter than a ‘93 Reba. 40 minute jams are the new 30 minute jams. Bust outs are as common as iced cold fatties on lot. But we still have a loooooong way to go. Next stop, Colorado 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

⭕️ Phantasy Phish Summer Tour 2025 ⭕️
The age-old battle of 12 wooks trying to distract themselves from getting anything productive or important done (except @guyutegirl who was extremely professional the entire time). The draft only took a month with all the shenanigans and bits, but with ONE week til tour, we present you with our picks for the Phantasy Phish Summer Tour 2025.

Follow along. Let us know who has the best squad, and more importantly who has the worst. What bust outs will hit? What songs did we miss?

Here’s how it works:
1pt = song is played
2pts = cover
3pts = opener, closer or encore
4pts = 20+ minute yam
5pts = 30+ minute yam
6pts = bust out (100+ shows)
7pts = 40+ minute yam

Huge thanks to our fearless leader @pageagainst_themachine for putting this entire thing together.
