Need a Halloween ride? SF this is yours.

Join our weekly ride 707 on Fri Oct 30. 👻

We meet every week at 7am at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. And we roll at 7:07am (hence the name).

Our Halloween ride is legendary and the most fun you’ll have on a bike all year.

The route has us going up Hawk Hill with a second climb to the top up McCullough. Then descend to pastries at Schubert’s and coffee @pixlcatcoffee

And it’s the same ride each week. So if you wanna drop in on any Friday during the year. We’ll be there.

@pxlbuttermochi makes Hawaiian butter mochi, a dessert that’s somewhere between cake and mochi with a soft, chewy texture. They now ship nationwide in perfect condition, and I got to try a box 😋

We tried:
🖤 black sesame
🌱 matcha
🍡 s’mores
🍫 chocolate
🍠 ube
🧈 classic

I was addicted - I meant to eat these throughout a few days but somehow ate the entire box in one day and immediately started craving more. My personal favorites were the classic, matcha, and ube - the classic was rich and buttery, while the matcha had a nice earthy flavor that balanced the sweetness. I love how it has slightly crisp edges but a softer mochi-like center.

Gluten-free butter mochi that ships nationwide? I tried Pixel Cat Butter Mochi, and I get the appeal. It’s sweet, chewy and dense in the best way—somewhere between a dessert bar and a little cake, but really, it’s mochi.

I tried the original, black sesame, ube white chocolate, matcha, chocolate chip and s’mores flavors. S’mores was my favorite, with the classic original close behind. If you want a gluten-free sweet treat that feels different from another cookie or cupcake, this one is Worth the Bite.
