Pixie and Frank, with their grandson Yah’shua. Pixie was very excited to get a portrait to remember how she enjoys spending her summer; with her grandson. Frank and Yah’shua were very interested in my camera and spent most of the time asking me about various facets of photography and telling me about their own experiences. Yah’shua even whipped out an old 600 type Polaroid he had been using and took my photo. I have to say, for a 12 year old he nailed the composition and the exposure is bang-on considering he was shooting into the sun. I was very impressed. I offered to have him over to learn to shoot and develop film next time he was in town and bought the photo from him with a $2 bill. He was overjoyed to make the exchange. Kids freaking love $2 bills. Taken with the Appalachian Box Camera as a paper negative and developed on site. Contact printed in the darkroom. Polaroid by Yah’shua. #appalachianboxcamera #analogphotography #filmphotography #blackandwhitephotography #papernegative #homemadecamera #streetboxcamera #environmentalportrait #familyportrait #blackandwhite #2dollarbill

So grateful for my son! ✨😊💫 He has grown up to be so smart, handsome, strong and kind. It happened too fast 🍃 Appreciate every moment of your children’s lives because it happens in the blink of an eye.💨👁💚 Wish I could turn back time and do it all over again, being with him through every growing pain. 🧞‍♂️ Being absent through too much of my son’s life has been my biggest struggle and pain on my heart and his but... 💔 It has also inspired me to become a better person despite the circumstances and encourage my son to do the same. 💫 Motherhood has been the hardest job I ever signed up for and a mother’s love never dies, it only gets stronger with time and unconditional love! 🌲 Every day is a chance to make new memories despite the crazy world we live in. 🌎 We can overcome the struggles of this life with love, family, community, patience, a positive outlook and hard work! 🏔 I have faith that my son can conquer any mountain! 🌟 Adversity creates opportunity ✨ NEVER GIVE UP! 👁 #blessed #growingpains #joy #famlove #faith #givethanks #nevergiveup #bethelight #overcomeadversity #motherhoodquotes #familygoals💕👪
