30 days until I say “I do” and some sweet summer loving all up and down the state of Utah 💋

Desert skies, city skylines, fresh flowers, wedding planning, dinners with friends 💕 I’m not ready for summer to end, but excited to bring in the new season as a wife ⭐️

Three days before our wedding, we lost the venue we’d spent a year planning.

The Cottonwood Fire destroyed my family’s cabin, the place we had always dreamed of getting married, but most importantly a place me and my family have been making memories for decades.

With just 72 hours to figure everything out, our family, friends, and vendors pulled off what felt impossible.

Beaver Canyon/Eagle Point weren’t just a wedding venue to me, this place shaped me into I am today. It was my escape from the world, my solace. My heart aches because a place I hold so close to my heart will never be the same. This is the story of how everything fell apart… and somehow became the best day of our lives. ❤️

When you trust the boys this much, you know they’ve got yours (and your new wife’s!!!) backs. 🫶🏻🫣😎

Cole was such a trooper with the obligatory groomsmen toss! I hold me breath a little bit every time someone’s feet leave the ground but he made it back safely!! 🙈

Dinner with Michelle & Creighton at Street Eats was delicious! Everything was yummy, especially the brussels sprouts! It was so good to catch up with them and the kids were in best friends mode in less than 2 minutes!
Dinner at Pizza Factory the next night was also very tasty and we loved how cozy our booth, ice cream cottage and entire evening was! We were very pleased with our evenings/dinners this trip.

It's because of the amazing support from all of you, Making Waves was a success. From our vendors like @summerhousefarms who let us use their amazing property, to the delicious apples from @caramel_apple_company, to the incredible sound equipment provided by Red Sound Events, our vendors went above and beyond! We had so many incredible donations for our raffle including a week stay in Puerto Rico, a fishing trip to Alaska, and even a hot air balloon ride! This list goes on and on! Thank you so much for your generosity! Your donations will help change the lives of our participants and we are so grateful! And lastly thank you to all our volunteers and event coordinator Jen Peterson for all your hard work. We couldn't have done it without you!

Epic birthdays in epic places with such a fun crew! It just so happened that @rving.eh was going to be in the same place at the same time as we were AND... it just so happened to line up with my birthday! We had a great time playing in my favorite state park, eating at my fav pizza joint, and then watching the sunset while playing in the gorgeous red sands at Snow Canyon! Such a fun and memorable day!
