NEWCASTLE BEST BITES 2026 …..so far that is 😂 If you’ve not tried any yet, grab your coat and get going haha When people ask for my fave food places in Newcastle, I can never choose. But best bites?!…even worse 😂 I have managed to whittle to 10 top, but in no particular order. I’ve been eating gooooood this year already. Plenty of cheat days exploring. Summer body who? 🌎 @pizzaglobe NEW globe-trotting menu 🍕 A brand-spanking-new pizza pasta menu has just landed at Pizza Globe, and let me tell you… these dishes are truly out of this world (okay, last globe pun I promise 😂) If you’ve been to Pizza Globe before, you’ll already know their food is an absolute sensation on the palate, so I was giddy to get stuck into some of their brand new dishes And honestly… they did not disappoint 🤤 I tried: 🍕 Nashville Pizza — tomato sauce, mozzarella, Cajun Southern fried chicken, jalapeños & red chillies, finished with a hot honey drizzle and crispy onions 🍝 Tijuana Pasta — Napoli sauce, slow-cooked beef chilli, Italian hard cheese & coriander 🍟 Pulled Beef Chilli Fries — skin-on fries, chilli, mozzarella, pickled pink onions & coriander 🍫 Galaxy Cookie Crumble Churros Now, that pizza… Holy moly The base was chef’s kiss- perfectly crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of chew while still being soft and pillowy inside. Honestly, a near perfect pizza base The toppings of spicy Cajun chicken, jalapeños and red chillies were balanced out beautifully by that sweet hot honey drizzle The chicken was juicy, crunchy and packed with flavour & the crispy onions on top added the perfect final touch. 20/10 pizza- No notes from me! The pasta and fries shared some similar flavours, but that pulled beef was the real star for me. It was ridiculously tender and practically melted in your mouth 🤤 The pasta had a slightly tart edge to it, and worked so well with that tangy Italian cheese And to finish things off, those Galaxy Cookie Churros were crispy, indulgent and loaded with toppings- A lovely, slightly lighter way to finish what was a seriously tasty spread indeed I need to make my way through the rest of this menu 😍 {invite} #newcastle #newcastleupontyne #newcastlefoodies #ne1 #pizzapasta
