At least you'll know what you're doing on Wednesdays. You'll be at @krazykatsusa enjoying their Pandan Smash Burger.😋

Trust! It's a 5-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ smash burger only available on hump 🐪 day.

🍔Food Deets: House made pandan sweet bun, onion, smash burger with cheese, pickles, and mayo. It's a no fuss burger made to perfection in our opinion.

Make your Wednesday plans: Pandan on the Patio.
(maybe I should host a Pandan on the Patio with Patty meet-up 😉)

Sidenote: Always order the house-made Japanese Pickled Cucumbers 🥒 😄 they pair so well with everything on the menu IMO.

Have you been to Krazy Katsu yet?

Add #FiestaDisco to your schedule. We had a blast last year, and this year, I won the VIP FIESTA DISCO PACKAGE! 🪅🎉🫶🏽
Lounge seating, drinks, swag, and a Viva Fiesta 🪅 good time.

It was the perfect way to bring in my birthday🎉 and wedding🤎 anniversary. Thanks @centrosanantonio

I love how San Antonio shows up, so many fits that had me saying yes! Dancing as a community is so fun, and the energy is always a vibe.

The bad ass women who make it happen & I adore @victorialeezamora
@ferd_terguson

Food: @guacitlikeitalkit_ & @el_weinecero (it really was the best chicken on the stick, and the Elote hot dog 🌭 is perf)

Music & Creative Vibes : @dtp_tx @_lzrcat (had us dancing and in the groove)

Party host: @centrosanantonio in Peacock Alley (stellar event)

🪅INSIGHT NOTES🎉:
If you missed it this year, make it a point to attend next year, it's a FREE event to attend and while it's family friendly I don't recommend strollers due to the alley being well, an alley, strollers kinda get in the way. It's way more fun when people dress on theme, whether that's disco, Fiesta, or a mix of both. Both years, the drinks have been free, and ya need to pay for food. There's usually one or two vendors at this event for food, and they typically take a card. I suggest bringing your own water bottle and be prepared to stand a lot, because seating is limited. If I had to break it down for ya, it's like going to a house party where everyone dances and hangs out, but it's in an alley, and you're outside. I personally🫶🏽 love it! While it's family friendly, I will say, most families leave pretty early cause they realize most people want to dance, drink, chill, and those who 😶‍🌫️💨 get their vibe on whether it's green or tabacky. Again, it's up to you, but I'd leave the kids at home and enjoy yourself. There are no kid activities, it's more adult vibes.

This stretch of the San Marcos River is beautiful.🏞
☎️Call Amigos Beach to schedule your drop-off.
They are awesome about helping ya load up and drop off.
Pay and park there.

We love our Dragonfly XTC3 River Raft. 🎣
It's been fantastic on our Texas rivers and can get skinny, which helps so much. (it does well in shallow water)

The fish🐟 were biting that day, and we caught and released. We got 8 on the line that day.

We ate the food we packed, relaxed, enjoyed ourselves, took a few cool dips, listened to some tunes, and chilled. The river is spring fed and nice and cool.

📌I highly recommend this 4-hour paddle trip. There's some minor technical parts, a few little fast-moving parts, and ya gotta watch out for fallen trees, spiders 🕷from the low hanging trees, and make sure you've got a "critter" stick on ya.

We can't wait to go back again and do the overnight camping on the river paddle trail.

📢Amigos beach does NOT allow dogs, styrofoam, or glass.

Have you been to Fentress, TX, and enjoyed Amigos Beach and the San Marcos River?

We loved @sama_art Tony Parkers Heroes & Villians exhibit. @marvelstudios @marvel and @dccomics with a few extra character surprises that you should totally visit and see.

We loved it! We're a comics book family, and we have our faves from both Marvel and DC! We agreed that this exhibit was bad ass.

This exhibit runs until 9.04.22

👏🏽GO👏🏽SEE👏🏽IT!!!

BEIGNET THERE DONE THAT
Beignets All Day
Finally made it to @nola_brunchsa

@pj.toms and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary today with brunch and beignets.

This was both our 1st time to indulge in beignets. We both haven't ever had one surprisingly 🙃

WE ARE SOLD!!!

We enjoyed:

🍞Bread Pudding French Toast
Macerated Berries, Almond Raisin Granola, Chantilly, Steen’s Syrup

🥐Mixed Beignets
The best of beignet worlds! A mix of 2 Classic Beignets, 1 Lemon Curd, and 1 Seasonal.

🍽NOLA Brunch Plate
Scrambled Eggs, Grits, Praline Bacon, Fried Green Tomato

☕️French Press Coffee ☕️

We loved all of it.

Have you been? If not, go! I highly advise going on a Wednesday when they open. They are closed Monday and Tuesday, they don't take reservations, and it's for sure a hot spot and WORTH IT!!! Customer service was lovely, and the food is delish.
