20 years ago today, my parents drove my brother and I to Yorkdale mall. From there, we got on a bus, and then a boat, and then were at @campkitchikewana for the first time. I didn't know it then (how could I), but it was about to be one of the most impactful experiences of my life. The little girl in this first photo had just come back from that first week; doll, pillow, toiletry bag, and Archie comic in hands, decked out in a crisp, white Kitchi shirt after have a great first week, but there's know way she could have known that 20 years later she'd still remember her time on that island.

T2. My first cabin. Just a bunch of Waterbugs.

2008. Alec and I about to get on the bus for our third year at camp.

2009. Out trip. One of many trips I went on that for some reason or another ended up completely changing plans. We were supposed to canoe to McCrae and instead hiked to Tonch. (This is also where I met Max. We were in the same cabin the next year, but I have no photos from that summer)

2012. Ariana and I getting picked up after L1. The buses stopped at IKEA now because Yorkdale had rebranded itself as "high-end" and didn't want sandy, sunburnt kids hanging out in the rainforest cafe every other Sunday.

2012. Ariana, Marieke, and I dressed as boys for talent show. I'm pretty sure we're all wearing one of my hats and Aidan's shirts.

2013. The Chapel morning we woke up to the flag pole painted like a candy cane. We were all unfazed and instead spent most of the day taking pictures.

2013. Erin, Kate, and I on what I'm pretty sure was my bed? But it could have been Kate's (we both hung blankets down from the bunks above to make a very cozy little space).

2013. Another picture from that same chapel morning. I still love these girls a lot.

2013. This was the very sweet card my friends all wrote for me on my 16th birthday. I think I cried (if the red nose is anything to go by).

2013. Taken right after the drama campers production of The Little Mermaid. (Honestly, this picture has always made me giggle)

2014. My first year as a councillor. That whole summer was a dream come true.

2015. And then I got to do it again! And I got to be an All Camp Captain! When I w
