Chicago ❤️ John Hughes wrote the screenplay for Ferris Buellers’s Day Off in one week (1986). He dedicated the film as a love letter to his favorite city, Chicago. He wanted to capture the expansive beauty of the city. Danke Schoen was the films featured song with the catalyst of the tune playing during the Von Steuben parade scene. Paulla and I fell in love with the city. From the Willis Tower to the Art Institute of Chicago, The Bean, Wrigley Field, Cindy’s Rooftop Diner, Architecture River Cruise, Negronis, Lake Michigan, Chicago dogs, the L train, The RedHead Piano Bar 😉 5 Story Starbucks, evening skyline, bus 151, and tulips 🌷and so much more. Danke Schoen Chicago. 🌃

🐣What a milestone! 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ fairy garden wanderers and friends.🥳

Thank you to everyone who has shared, enjoyed, and visited the Laguna Beach Library Butterfly and Fairy Garden throughout the years.🦋

It’s so fun to see how the garden has grown and changed from year to year and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this little slice of fairy heaven.🧚🏻‍♂️
