I've stopped going to gigs of bands I used to love because they've been silent on P@lestin3. Not so for @macklemore, who's been advocating relentlessly.

All artists, especially those with such a large platform, need to follow @macklemore's lead and keep shouting for P@lestin3

Delighted he took the @badgebitchescollective & @pjmacconmara keffiyehs we threw up to him and I also must commend his attire, particularly when he rocked the @bfcdublin jersey and the backing singers wearing their '32' tops.

Well, here's the chance to test your knowledge, show solidarity, raise vital funds for Palestinian causes - all in the company of Fr Damo, the wonderful Joe Rooney.

In his memoir, 'Man's Search for Meaning', Austrian psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl wrote:

"Humour [is] another of the soul’s weapons in the fight for self-preservation. It is well known that humour, more than anything else in the human make-up, can afford an aloofness and an ability to rise above any situation, even if only for a few seconds."

The Irish are renowned for their wry and irreverent wit, a response perhaps to our own dark days, no better example of which can be seen in the iconic 'Father Ted'.

So, if you think there's anything to be said for another mass, come along and join us on Saturday night the 1st of February @8pm in the @ennisgolfclub1 as we come together in communion to have a laugh and unite in our drive for better days ahead.

There'll be live music by the amazing @jimicullenmusic , an amazing raffle choc full of fabulous prizes, and all money raised is in aid of @fajrscientificus who do life saving work in countries experiencing high levels of hostility.

Day 9 of "There are No Silent Nights in Palestine " comes from @peopleofclareagainstgenocide and @eastclare4palestine who recorded this during their vigil on New Years Eve in Ennis.

Brian McCarthy, activist with People of Clare Against Genocide and member of @eisteacht._ choir sang Behind the Baracades by American protest singer/songwriter @davidrovics at our march and rally for Gaza today Saturday 7th September. He dedicated the song to activist and dual American and Turkish citizen Aysenur Ezgi Eygi who was shot in the head by an IOF sniper and killed yesterday while she was at a protest in the West Bank.

It was a beautiful and heartbreaking evening on the Killaloe Bridge to read out some of the names of the 16,000 (known ) murdered children as a result of the Genocide in Palestine.

The support from passers-by was amazing 👏
