Meet Philip aka PKB! 🎧

Philip is a music producer, creative director, and founder of Novarion (@wearenovarion ): a cross-disciplinary agency dedicated to ‘Nurturing Original Voices Always’ and empowering creatives to bring their boldest ideas to life.

Shared Tonalities Group Exhibition | 21.08.2026 - 22.08.2026

A huge thank you to @callumccooper for making October (2026) come alive.

The artwork features an induction sensor and speaker. A sensor coil is held in the right hand to pick up an audio signal running through a wire behind the painting. This signal is then amplified and played through the listening conch held to the ear in the left hand. This invites a more exploratory audio-visual experience for the viewer to seek out areas of focus within the painting themselves. Designed and fabricated by Callum Cooper (Creative Technologist) in collaboration with Areeba Baig, inspired by conversations with Thomas Fox.

This really has been one of my biggest highlights of 2026! I’m very grateful to @wearenovarion and @pkbwsrt for the chance to be involved! And thank you to everyone who came to support us🥳

It was incredible to see how creatives from different disciplines came together to create something so special and unique all within a few months. Hopefully this is the first of many 👀

Notes of Heritage (Pt 2)

This portrait explores the evolution of contemporary Afro-fusion through the musical traditions that came before it. From indigenous Nigerian rhythms and highlife to Afrobeat and today’s global sounds, the artwork celebrates how music can carry cultural heritage forward. As a result, it connects us to the people and histories that continue to shape what we hear today.

A brief day in the life

Had a fun day on Tuesday prepping for the upcoming Shared Tonalities exhibition, everyone has put in so much work to make this happen (especially @pkbwsrt) and I can’t wait to see how it turns out 🥳

Was also a bonus to visit my old co-workers and enjoy some cake made by @chaimaacreates 🙌🏽
