I had the opportunity to join one of the largest law firms in the country.

Instead, I walked away and built my own.

I’ve been drawn to the law for as long as I can remember - even as a kid watching The People’s Court, I was fascinated by how disputes were framed and resolved.

After law school, I built my foundation in commercial litigation at two AmLaw 200 firms, handling complex matters for banks, insurance companies, and major corporations.

Then came a decision point.

About eleven years ago, after a lot of reflection and conversations with my family, I chose to open my own practice.

I focused on small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups because I saw a gap. Large firms aren’t built around their needs, and many smaller firms don’t specialize in helping business owners navigate both day-to-day legal issues and high-stakes disputes.

That mission is personal. My father owned a small business, and I saw firsthand how difficult it could be to find practical, business-minded guidance.

Today, nearly eleven years later, my firm is thriving. We support business owners in both litigation and transactional work - delivering sophisticated counsel in a way that is accessible, responsive, and aligned with the realities of running a business.

And I’m proud to do it in Coral Springs - where I grew up.

I went to law school because I saw how vulnerable people feel when they don’t understand their rights.

That perspective shaped everything.

I began my career in personal injury law, guiding individuals through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That work taught me the importance of compassion, precision, and being a steady presence when clients feel overwhelmed.

Over time, I was drawn to real estate law - where legal guidance helps people build stability, security, and long-term wealth. Whether purchasing a first home or investing in property, clients depend on clear advice to protect what they’ve worked hard for.

In December 2023, I opened PKC Law Professional Corporation in Ontario. Leading a boutique real estate practice allows me to combine legal precision with a client-first approach, while building a firm aligned with my values.

Today, I balance practicing law and running a business, growing my professional community and helping make the law feel accessible and empowering.
