My mom thought I walked on water 💦

About 5 weeks ago during a routine Doctor’s visit a test discovered that I had a tumor about the size of a baseball on my right kidney. So about 2.5 weeks ago I had successful surgery to remove my entire right kidney and I’m happy to say that today I am now CANCER FREE!

My amazing wife Yauny is the reason I even went to the doctor’s in the first place and I couldn’t have gotten through the last month without her. She LITERALLY saved my life. My family and friends have been the most supportive and I hope they know how much they’re appreciated. Love you @yaunyw

I’ve seen many people go through way worse than me so I’m thankful to come out the other side. The docs are going to keep a close eye on me for the next few years but otherwise it turns out you can live just fine on one kidney…though I will now answer to “1 Kidney Pardo” or 1KP for short.

If anyone has any questions certainly feel free to take me out for a drink and ask. My left kidney is thirsty!
