photo archives of silken threads adorn his corners (stahc), performed at the 4th annual jazz dance conference west on may 24th, 2025.

this was such a transformative piece to perform, alongside my dance partner, scout coneja. we often found ourselves dancing in different realms, beyond the stage, yet somehow existing in the same place. potraying themes that have been prevalent in both our lives, sharing and relating to one another, i’m not sure what word to describe this feeling. scout has created this piece for around 4-5 years, responsible for choreography, art design, notation, philosophical themes/narratives, costume coordination, set designs, and so on. i’m honored to be her muse. to more repetoire in the future by our duo dance collective, place of glances.
