I ❤️ Vienna! It had been years since my last visit, and spending four days there with my mom reminded me what an incredible city it is. Palaces, cafés, music, and the best schnitzel. It belongs on everyone’s travel list! 🇦🇹✨ Swipe for my favorite places to stay, eat, and explore on your next trip 👉 Planning a visit? reach out!

A little Vienna restaurant diary 🤍 Been trying a few new restaurants lately and revisiting some I hadn’t been to in years. @mangiaeridi1010 at Judenplatz is a great Italian spot for a quiet evening and good, authentic food. Kübey is a completely different vibe, modern Turkish cuisine with a cool, almost bar-like atmosphere in the evenings. Went back to @shikivienna after years and was pleasantly surprised. I like that you can go for a casual lunch or a more refined dinner. Their new omakase bar is next on my list, heard great things about it. @artig_1080 was a new discovery, Japanese-Peruvian food with fresh fish and interesting flavours in a lively setting. Also really enjoyed the fish and sushi at DO & CO Albertina, perfect to combine with a museum visit. And @plachuttarestaurants Neuer Markt remains a family favourite for traditional Viennese food, mostly locals and always worth coming back to.

A little quiet on here lately, but life has been anything but. 😁❤️

From sunny days in Sardinia 🇮🇹 to time spent in Toronto 🇨🇦, with a little fashion, beautiful places, good food and all the little moments in between.

Now back in Vienna, just in time for autumn, and happy to be home. 🍂

A few glimpses of life lately, straight from my camera roll. 🤍

“FAMILY MY HEART IS BROKEN SINCE DAYS - I really can’t stop grieving over my dear DADDY“ A couple of month ago, I lost one of the strongest pillars of my life! It’s now my mourning started. Didn’t know how much I have missed him!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹💔💔💔💔

MY DARLING FRITZ, HOW DO I SAY GOODBYE? 💔🕊️

For days, I’ve tried to find the words. But every memory brings another wave of tears.

For nine beautiful years (2017–2026), I was blessed to know Friedrich “Fritz” Schiller.

Through his wonderful wife, Jeannine, who became like a mother to me, I found a man who would become one of the strongest pillars of my life.

You were never just a friend, Fritz. You became family. ❤️

You celebrated my birthdays, supported my fashion business, believed in my music, opened doors for me, and stood beside me through my darkest moments.

But what I loved most wasn’t what you did for me. It was who you were.

Your kindness. Your generosity. Your humour. Your beautiful smile. Your unconditional love.

With you, I could simply be Barbara. And that was enough.

During Jeannine’s illness, I was grateful to offer you friendship, laughter, and companionship in return.

I’ll never forget 14 April 2026, the last time I saw you, at my HOMECOMING concert. Afterward, you called me your queen, your goddess, and your star.

How I wished that dinner invitation was our last dinner. I thought we had more time.

Oh, Fritz, how I wish I could hug you once more. 💔

Today, even through my tears, I choose gratitude. How blessed was I to find such extraordinary love and family so far from home?

Thank you, Jeannine, for bringing him into my life.

And thank you, Daddy Fritz, for loving me like a daughter and believing in the woman I could become.

I promise to make you proud.

May God welcome you into His eternal peace. I pray you have found your own HOMECOMING. 🕊️

Forever your African daughter,

Barbara Alli ❤️
