This little glass pumpkin plate was only $1! 🎃🤎 It was all scratched, but way too cute to pass up.

I had some pretty fabric on hand, so I pulled out the Mod Podge, added a metallic gold trim, and gave it a whole new look!

DIY Mod Podge ghosts with tiny flower bouquets! 👻💐 A cute, easy Halloween craft using @modpodgecrafts Stiffy, a torn thrifted vintage napkin, and things I already had around the house.

Because apparently even my ghosts need flowers. 😂

👻 SUPPLIES:

* Mod Podge Stiffy Fabric Stiffener
* Vintage napkin or lightweight fabric
* Salt and pepper shaker or disposable champagne glass for ghost body
* Floral foam balls for heads
* Play-Doh or clay and straws for arms
* Plastic wrap (optional)
* Paint pen and tiny flowers

✨ HOW TO MAKE:

1. Build your form: Top a shaker or champagne glass with a floral foam ball.
2. Add arms: Use Play-Doh to attach pieces of straw to the form.
3. Drape: Cover the form with plastic wrap, saturate your fabric with Mod Podge Stiffy, and drape over the form. Shape the folds and arms, making sure the base is well saturated.
4. Dry: Let stiffen for 24 hours, then carefully remove the form.
5. Decorate: Draw on a face and add a tiny bouquet!

I love that this upcycled Halloween DIY gave a damaged vintage napkin a second life. 🤍

Jesus is the Light of the World ✨💛

Lantern Craft for Kids to make, this was an evening as we were watching a movie. My daughters had fun doing this plus it’s a great reminder that we are the light in this world through Jesus!

Supply List:
- Yellow & Orange Tissue Paper (cut into small squares)
- Scissors
- Hold Punch
- Clear Plastic Cup
- Gloss Mod Podge
- Foam Paintbrush
- Pipe Cleaners
- Sharpie
- tealight Candles

Directions:
1. Use the foam paintbrush to cover the inside of the cup with mod podge.
2. Add tissue paper inside the cup.
3. Punch two holes on the side of the cup for the handle.
4. Use the pipe cleaner to make a handle.
5. Write “Jesus is the Light” with sharpie.
6. Let the mod podge dry completely. Then add a battery powered tealight candle.

Now the message that we have heard from His son and announce in this: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in Him. 1 John 1:5

SAVE this idea for your next spooky party! 🖤🎃✨ Who knew a bunch of random thrift store finds could turn into the cutest gothic Halloween decor?!

I grabbed a collection of inexpensive thrifted items and gave them all a makeover using the NEW Apple Barrel spray paint from @plaidcrafts, available at @walmart!

Here’s how it all came together:

🖤 First, the thrift store finds! I grabbed a few candle holders, a white skull mug, a pumpkin, and even an old bouquet of flowers! I used black Apple Barrel spray paint to give everything a coordinating gothic look. The coverage was SO good, and I love that the spray paint comes in several colors for all kinds of DIY projects!

🕯️ Next, the DIY gothic candles! I cut black pool noodles to different heights and made the center holes a little bigger so I could slip battery-operated LED candles inside. I even used the NEW black Apple Barrel oil-based paint pen to color the white bases of the LED candles so everything matched! They look like real gothic candles, but they’re completely flameless!

💐 Finally, the spooky flowers! My favorite thrift store find was this gorgeous amber-colored glass vase. I paired it with an old bouquet that I spray painted black, and I am OBSESSED with how it turned out!

Once everything was dry, I arranged all the pieces together to create a spooky gothic centerpiece that looks like a coordinated collection instead of a bunch of random thrift store finds!

I love that you don’t have to spend a fortune on seasonal decor. Sometimes all you need is a little paint and some imagination! 🖤

Comment SUPPLIES and I’ll DM you links to the Plaid supplies I used to make everything!
