📌 Some of the best memories come from places you almost walked past. A free photo booth hidden inside a vintage shop in Denver.

Let me tell you what I learned on this trip. For starters you need to bring a cooler for all your snacks and drinks. It’s alot of driving, so plan to start your days at dawn and work your way back to the hotel at or by dusk. In my opinion I’d prefer anything other than a car. We had a van, if you can get something spacious that sits up high, a sunroof is a plus! Do not sleep on the Visitor Centers. Each one has something different to offer and always chat with the park rangers they are super helpful and can give you shortcuts etc. Booking your stay inside the park is definitely worth it if you know what you want to do and see, but either way it’s alot of driving. Make sure you have plenty of patience. Try and bring your family with you. There is ZERO cell service inside the park. Walkie talkies! Towels, change of clothes, and jackets! Even in July the mornings were in the 50’s and the day 90’s be ready for that. Good walking/running shoes. Wear a belt. Bring a backpack with utility. Portable chargers. Ask for maps. READ THE SIGNS. Take deep breaths, when hiking take small steps, listen to the radio, hydrate before your trip. Lastly remember that you’re in the wilderness, bear country, bison country etc… Hike with 3 or more and be prepared, and alert. You’ll find places to rent Bear spray in the park. OH BRING BINOCULARS!!! Or rent a telescope, TRUST ME WORTH IT!
