WEEK 11 IS OFFICIALLY IN THE BOOKS! 🎨🔥

Today was a special one for @inktopurpose 🖤

@planetarttattoos reached a HUGE milestone today by completing her FIRST EVER TATTOO! 👏🏽 And what made it even more meaningful was that her very first client was her own mother! ❤️with a little bit of help , she took everything she’s been learning and put it into practice💯

Meanwhile, the rest of our students took their original drawings and began turning them into tattoo ready stencils, preparing to bring their artwork to life on fake skin! 😎

Watching these students go from learning the fundamentals to actually applying their skills has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey🥹

This academy was never just about teaching people how to tattoo. It’s about building confidence, developing discipline, overcoming fear, and showing people what they’re capable of when they believe in themselves.
We’re coming up on the finish line of our very first cohort, and I couldn’t be more proud of how far everyone has come🖤✍🏽

STAY TUNED FOR THE FINAL RESULTS! 👀🔥

What if becoming a better artist starts with understanding yourself? 👀

Today at @inktopurpose , we connected a powerful lesson from Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence 📚 “Know Thyself” transitioning into the art of drawing portraits✍🏽

Before we can understand the emotions in someone else’s face, we must learn to recognize and understand our own!!

Self awareness teaches us to recognize our emotions. Patience teaches us not to let those emotions control our progress🐆

Every student chose a different portrait, but they all approached their drawings using the same techniques, principles, and foundations. Different faces, different challenges and perspectives but one room, learning and growing together🤍

The lesson I want YOU to take away:

Don’t judge your progress by what your work looks like halfway through. Learn to appreciate the process of who you’re becoming while creating it. These portraits aren’t finished yet, and neither is their growth. That’s the beauty of it!!!

I’m proud of these students for showing up, challenging themselves, and continuing to develop not only their artistic abilities but their minds🙌🏽❤️

Stay tuned for the final results of their portraits! You’re gonna wanna see how these drawings come together🔥

Man, watching this video back truly touched my heart🖤

We’re officially in our second to last week of @inktopurpose , and I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of these individuals🫂🔥

They didn’t just listen to what I taught them. They took it, applied it, and made it their own💯

I’ve watched confidence grow, mindsets shift, friendships form, and people begin believing in themselves in ways they never did before🤝

And the beautiful part? They’ve taught me just as much as I’ve taught them!!!!

This journey was never just about learning how to tattoo, it was about discovering what you’re capable of🐆🐆

Today we closed out our week by challenging our students to step outside their comfort zones through realism and semi-realism roses, learning the importance of depth, shading, patience, and precision🌹

But the lesson goes beyond the tattoo machine! We’re teaching our students how to create content, communicate their value, build their personal brands, and develop the confidence to put themselves out into the world 🫂💯

Talent alone won’t build your future. Your discipline, consistency, communication, and willingness to keep learning will 🐆

We’re not just building portfolios. We’re building people who understand their potential and have the courage to pursue it💯💯

This is @inktopurpose 🖤🏆

THE CRAFT IS OUR VEHICLE | PURPOSE IS OUR DIRECTION 🐆🐆

Tonight we strengthened our mindset while studying the foundations of American Traditional tattooing… Growth starts from the inside out 🐆🖤

This week at Ink to Purpose we’re studying American Traditional tattooing , bold lines, strong shapes, intentional color, and designs built to read clearly and last‼️🐆

Tonight wasn’t just about copying a panther or drawing a dagger, It was about understanding WHY the style works, then using those fundamentals to develop their own eye as artists💯

Study the foundation | Practice the fundamentals
Then build your own identity!!
