Today we visited the famous Tokyo Toyosu fish market and the Tsukiji outer market for some amazing street food. It was wonderful to experience the floor of the fish market and see the sellers at work. Thank you to @planjapan for making this a reality! 🐠 🍣 🐙 🦑 🦐 🐟 #invited

Night one in Tokyo 🇯🇵

Michael and I are here with @planjapan for the Japan Cup on Sunday. 🐎

Last night we went to inakaya in Roppongi which is just an amazing dining experience and then to Golden Gai - a series of tiny hole in the wall bars which is a must do in Tokyo 🥃 (take cash though as no one accepts card!) #invited

Our most watched video ever: Japan’s #1 ranked sushi restaurant, Sugita in Tokyo
.
Last year we were blessed to dine with one of the world’s most revered chefs, Takaaki Sugita. This capped off an amazing week with @planjapan — we’re heading to Tokyo again with them in December for another insane lineup of 3 Tabelog gold restaurants in 5 days
.
Omakase for $280 includes 24 courses. Signature otsumami like the Bonito and Saba Roll are spectacular, while the nigiri are all extra large and the best quality fish that exists 🐟. Extremely high expectations were exceeded by every dish, even the oyster was the best I’ve ever had.

This wasn’t the first time I’ve been here, but this time, it absolutely blew me away. Last time I visited Arashiyama, I was in high school. Too young to truly appreciate what it had to offer.

I have so many shots from this location. It was a near impossible task to pick the first one to post. I decided to go with the location I was most drawn to. Enjoy ✌️

Chureito pagoda for sunrise had to be up there with one of the coolest views I’ve ever seen. A short 400 step walk to the top for this insane view. I sat here for a long time 😍

One of Tokyo’s most respected young chefs @sushi.shunji 🍣🔥
.
Omakase for $260 at one of the toughest reservations in town. Shunji famously worked at the mecca Sushi Saito, becoming the #1 assistant before moving to this new location recently.

First post in a while.
This last trip of the year has made me realise time and time again how fortunate my life has been.
The love I receive.
The friends around me.
God in my life.
I’m content with where I am and what I do. I still want more. I don’t need more though.
But I want to be more to do more for others.
I can’t thank the people in my life enough of what they do for me, some don’t even realise.
Praying everyday to point me in the right direction.
