First Live Baptism. Yes, the Jewish guy. 🙏

Tonight I got baptized live, in a kiddie pool on the grass in Miami, with a crowd of people standing around me, cheering, praying, and holding the sides of the pool while I went under.

I have been getting the same question for years. "Wait, aren't you Jewish?" The answer is yes. I am a Messianic Jew and a Christian. I grew up in a home where we lit the menorah and decorated the tree. We did Passover and Easter. We honored Shabbat and we went to church. I was raised on both and I never once felt like I had to choose.

Somewhere along the way the world told me I was supposed to pick a side. I never bought it. The way I see it, the story of the Jewish people and the story of Christ are one story. Same God. Same Source. Different chapters.

That conviction is the reason I wrote my book, Return to the Source: The Journey of Remembering & The Path of Awakening. It walks through every tradition that shaped me, Jewish and Christian, and how each one became a doorway back to the same place. Not religion for the sake of religion. A real, living connection to the Creator that you can feel in your body and carry into your business, your relationships, and your purpose.

Tonight was me putting that belief into action in front of everyone. No hiding it. No softening it. Just full surrender, in public, with my brothers around me.

I am not here to push anything on anyone. I am here to show you what I found and let you decide for yourself. Running a business is hard.
Working for somebody is hard.
Building anything meaningful is hard.

The truth is… LIFE is hard.

A long time ago, I stopped expecting the road to be easy.

Too many of us spend our lives trying to avoid pain, failure and risk…

But… LIFE itself is risky…
And 0% of us are making it out of here alive fr fr.

So the real question is:
WHAT are you going to do with the TIME you’ve been given… and WHO will you do it with?

One of the greatest lessons adversity has taught me is the power of COMMUNITY.

Not just any community… The RIGHT community.

Men who sharpen you, challenge you, expect more from you, and refuse to let you stay down when life hits you on the chin.

Somewhere along the way, men started believing that strength meant carrying everything alone.

That’s a lie.

The Word tells us to “bear one another’s burdens.”
“Be strong. Act like men.”

Three and a half years ago, God put it on my heart to start a men’s group. #plantedmen

Crazy part is that the very group I thought God was asking me to build and sustain for men, became the very group of men who would build and sustain me.

Today, we’re a nonprofit. A tribe of men PLANTED in faith, standing beside one another and pushing each other toward who God called us to be.

In life, you’re going to get hit. That’s inevitable.

Your confidence will be shaken.
Plans will fall apart.
There will be moments when everything in you wants to back down and give up.

DON’T.

Stand up.
Be strong and courageous.
Keep moving.
And surround yourself with men doing the same.

I’m grateful for entrepreneurship and the opportunity to build something that matters, truly.

But one of greatest gifts God’s blessed me with is the men I get to stand beside while doing it.

So to all my men… GET PLANTED. 🌱

Find men who celebrate your wins, carry you through your losses, correct you when you’re wrong, challenge you when you’re soft, and pray for you when you can’t find the words yourself.

Men who remind you WHO you are… and WHOSE you are.

Then get after it.

Build the business.
Pursue the vision.
Take the risk.
Choose the HARD thing.

MAKE THE MOVE.

The men around you don’t need to be evil to keep you stuck.

They just need to be comfortable.

Comfortable with average.
Comfortable with excuses.
Comfortable with staying exactly where they are.

And if we’re honest…

some of us have confused loyalty with leadership.

But REAL brotherhood isn’t a group of men helping you stay stuck where you are.

A real brother interrupts your comfort.

He calls you out.
Calls you up.
Challenges your excuses.
Pulls you closer to God, your purpose, and the man you said you wanted to become.

Because if your circle isn’t sharpening you…

it’s slowly shrinking you and your future.

This is exactly why I started @plantedmen

Not for networking…

For brotherhood.
For discipleship.
For accountability.

For men willing to challenge one another and refuse to let each other settle.

Before the money.

Before the confirmation.

Before the resources, the team, or the guarantee that any of it will work…

all you get is a vision.

A vision to create something.
To serve others.
To impact lives.

And if you’ve ever felt the weight of carrying a vision nobody else can see yet…

you know how uncomfortable faith can feel.

Because God rarely gives you the entire blueprint.

He gives you the next step.

And if God gave you the vision, trust that He will provide the people, the provision, and the doors needed to bring it to life.

All He asks from you…

is movement.

Make the move.

Faith over everything.

We’re all tempted daily.
We all fight silent battles.
But with accountability and community, we don’t have to fight alone.

This is what Planted Men is all about:

Crazy to think that this group started 3 years ago with just a couple of guys in my apartment… no promotion, no marketing, just authentic vulnerable conversations… yet it quickly scaled to a community of more than 300 men committed to opening up, holding space, and keeping each other accountable to pursue purpose and grow together.
