Did you know that Gurung Cottage is more than just a beautiful mountain stay?

Gurung Cottage began with a dream to build something meaningful in his own village. Instead of leaving his roots behind, its founder chose to create a place that celebrates his heritage, culture, and love for Ghandruk.

Today, this traditional mountain retreat welcomes travelers with warm hospitality, local food, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. ❤️

Surrounded by the majestic peaks of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli, it offers more than just a place to stay. It offers a glimpse into the heart of Nepal’s mountain life.

Sometimes, the most beautiful destinations are not just about the views. They are about the people, the culture, and the stories behind them.

Up above the world so high, everything looks a little different ✨
Maybe we all start as that little star dreaming of places that feel impossibly far away 🕊️
But behind every beautiful view, there are stories no one sees, battles no one knows about, and scars we quietly carry with us.
Life doesn’t always teach us how to avoid falling…
sometimes it gives us the courage to get back up, climb a little higher, and keep going 💪
And somewhere between the deepest scars and the highest mountains, you slowly find your wings…🦋
You learn that you were never meant to stay in the same place forever….
So climb, fall, heal, explore, dream and when the time comes, learn to fly. ⛰️✈️

A little fear, a lot of wonder, and a memory I’ll carry far beyond the ocean and it turns out, there was a whole world beneath the surface waiting for me. 🌊✨🌊💙
