Friday was a special one with @_____keen @sweater.dj & @johnraffaele_ ! Three days of excellent music from these three. From beautiful deep house to cheeky bombs, they had a dance floor in the moment every night. Their chemistry was palpable and energy infectious.

We love a dance floor full of smiles when the lights come on (slide 4). Thank you to all the dancers, y’all really represented Boston so well. Special shout out to those that hit all three! 🤯🫠

// John Raffaele //

Since 2012, John Raffaele has brought life to dance floors around the globe, leaving listeners and partygoers exhilarated time and time again. Influenced by many great American DJs before him, he blends house, techno and their substrates to give parties his signature touch. His genre-bending and dedicated obscure selections leave an indelible mark on any dance floor plays. As owner of the dance music focused record shop, Impressions, he is always the first to get his hands on those elusive dance floor weapons that keep the party moving. In the studio, his alias “Post Play” with Sweater has produced some quality 12” with the release on Small Moves proving to be anthem these past years. He also runs Subsurface, the iconic Philly party series. John is at the forefront of a resurgent underground in Philly and a massive contributor to the scene on the East Coast.

John has an amazing influence on a party. His selections are constantly trying to lift the party up, to get people moving. We are super stoked to hear him play tonight at Cloud & Spirits.

The party starts right at 8 with all three Philly heads going record for record all night long. Come hear more than a decade of chemistry in the making on Sound Logic’s hifi rig. Tickets are on RA and in our bio.

Come steep & play nice ;)

// Keen //

Philadelphia based DJ and Producer, Keen, found his love for dance music upon his arrival in the city in 2011. His energy and dedication to the scene has propelled him to steadily rise through the ranks as a sought-after name in the nightlife circuit. Keen is a massive contributor to the scene there, best seen through his efforts as production manager and resident DJ for the party series, Subsurface. As production manager, he strives to push the boundaries of nightlife, producing creative environments for Philly’s dancers.

As a DJ, Keen is a serious digger and always considers the time and place when packing his bag. Fusing eclectic flavors and paths is his method in compiling a story that sculpts the space. His prowess as a selector has taken him beyond the sick warehouse parties of Philly— playing all over the U.S. and internationally with some sweet apprearances in London Amsterdam and an upcoming debut at Dimensions Festival in Tisno. Keen has played alongside many greats, John Dimas, Anthea, Hamish & Toby, The Ghost, Brawther, Sugar Free & Fonte to name a few.

We have heard amazing things about Keen, and are beyond excited to host him next Friday. He comes highly recommended by some of our favorite DJs. We cannot wait to enjoy his ever expanding musical palette and hear his unique sound.

Friday, June 28th. Doors at 8 pm.

Come steep. & play nice. ;)
