POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Starting before I feel ready feels awful. My whole body screams at me to stop. Retreat. Give up. I think I learnt to get comfortable with that feeling from my time performing Playback Theatre. PLAYBACK is a special kind of improvisation that turns the audiences stories into theatre on the spot. There is a specific feeling in the body in the split second when I step forward into the unknown on the Playback stage. My mind unsure, my body lurching into some weird theatre version of a trust fall. It feels awful, but i think ive felt that feeling enough times to know that somehow it will be OK. Or maybe even better than OK. Thank you Playback Family for teaching me that. Here is a video of me sitting in that feeling for a few hours straight. I’m stepping forward, on a ladder, with husband’s drill and giving it a shot. I’m digging deep and using my stage manager skills to hang the pics and my designer skills to create balance and my complete lack of attention to detail & patience - not measuring out a single thing! 😂 ha ha ha

𝑴𝑼𝑺𝑨𝑬 𝑿 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝒀𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑽𝑶𝑳 001 🪩🍸🖤✨

MUSAE’s first ever pop-up and what a way to kick it off!!!! Huge thank you to the iconic girls @kylee.angelika & @rachellefacelo for hosting such an incredible SOLD OUT event and for making this all happen! They always deliverrrrrr so I expected nothing less from these girls when it was all in the planning!!!

Thank you soooo much to everyone for the love and support!!!! I am so grateful and was soooo overwhelmed with the amount of support that your girl shed happy tears during & after the event! 🥹 I loved meeting sooooo many new faces, the amazing faces behind other small businesses and also see familiar faces at this event from my home studio. This pop up will always hold a huge place in my heart!!!! 🖤

For now, back to the drawing board for some ideas & improvements for more future pop-ups! 👀
