From Fat Tuesday to Earth Day, let’s jazz up our commitment to climate action! 🌎♻️🎶 So why are celebrating Fat Tuesday? Because #fattuesday kicks off our Fat Tuesday to Earth Day campaign at Blues to Green! New Orleans, the birthplace of Jazz, holds a rich cultural legacy that deserves preservation. As we celebrate this vibrant art form, we must also acknowledge the communities it stems from, particularly in the face of climate change impacts. We’re proud to introduce our program, Arts for Racial & Climate Justice, merging creativity with activism for a better world. 🎨✊ Shoutout to @playera.studio for the incredible logo! Thank you for helping us lift up one of our other programs outside of the Jazz & Roots Festival! Together, let’s amplify voices and work towards a just and sustainable future. #FatTuesdayToEarthDay #JazzForJustice #ClimateAction #Artivism
