My story is rough, my neighborhood is tough

Trust my neighborhood is not tough, but my story maybe rough!

This finished photo is after i asked @risahighrollers to come back two day after i cut her hair the first time.

When i got home and looked at the photos, i saw things i didn’t see in person and i wasn’t pride filled. So i asked Risa to come back in and let me make a few adjustments to her cut!

When she came in i showed her what i saw and what i wanted to see. She was of course cool and understanding because i was being open, honest and forthcoming. I didn’t see the pics and say well she didn’t say anything so it must be nice ok. I have my own standards and morals i live by. We all must have those and stick to them!

I share all this to let you know even if you’ve been cutting hair for 30 years like myself, you may not love an outcome, you may have to make an adjustment to feel that love for the outcome. I like feeling love for my work, so it’s worth it to me to be vulnerable, modest and honest to myself, my clients and all of you.

I’m human, i can make a mistake. I’m modest and honest so i can also correct my mistakes, so someone doesn’t have to live with my mistakes.

Part two kinda.

Trust me i have no clue how my “irl eyes” did not see the drops in the lines.

Once i did see adjustments needed, i immediately contacted @risahighrollers and asked if she could come back in, allowing be to adjust the lines.

It’s great to get things right the first time, but that’s not always how things turn out. If you see in the pics later that it’s not great, it is awesome to be honest, forward, have them come back and make yr adjustments. You, yr client and the universe will respect that move :)

Thank you @celestial_lyf for trusting the process of bringing you from a natural level 2 with black dye on top, to a lived-in blonde. This was a 4 day project and the end product was worth every minute.

To protect her hair we used K18 pre and post lightening service, and to tone @lorealpro DIArichesse.
