❤️📚 CCBF thanks our generous sponsors who help make the festival possible! We truly couldn’t do it without them! 📚❤️

We are so grateful to @pldanceacademy for their partnership and generous support of the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival 💃✨

Penny Lane Dance Academy offers dance classes for all ages and skill levels, from ballet and jazz to tap and contemporary. Their classes encourage creativity, confidence, discipline, and joy through movement, helping students express themselves both on and off the dance floor. 🌟

Now with two studios (as of September 2025), there are even more opportunities for your little dancers! Whether your child is a budding ballerina, a future Broadway star, a jazz enthusiast, or simply loves to move, Penny Lane Dance Academy has a place for them! ❤️

We love having Miss Andi, Miss Lucia, and their entire Penny Lane Dance Academy team as part of CCBF because, just like books and storytelling, dance gives children a way to imagine, create, express themselves, and discover their own unique voice. We’re so grateful for their partnership in celebrating art, creativity, and the magic of storytelling! We hope you will visit them in the FAMILY FUN ZONE to discover all they have to offer!

Visit their website:

Thank you, Penny Lane Dance Academy, for your support of CCBF and for helping us bring this celebration of books, imagination, and community to life.

See you September 26th!! 📚❤️🤗

MOVE! Katonah is looking for a few more professional and emerging dance artists to join us on June 18th for an evening of movement, connection, and love throughout Katonah Avenue.

We’re seeking soloists and small groups of all movement styles to perform in storefronts, sidewalks, and community spaces as part of this free strolling dance experience supporting The Trevor Project and celebrating love in every form.

Interested in being part of it? DM us for details. 🏳️‍🌈

Over the coming weeks, as we countdown to Pride month and our celebratory event we’ll be exploring the colors of the Pride flag through the lens of movement, identity, emotion, and connection; and what they mean within our spring project, Just Call It Love benefiting The Trevor Project.

Each color carries its own history, symbolism, energy, and heartbeat.

We begin with RED / LIFE ❤️

Red represents pulse. Courage. Visibility. The act of showing up fully as yourself.

Movement begins before words: in breath, heartbeat, instinct, survival. For many LGBTQIA+ people, simply existing openly and honestly is an act of bravery. This project honors that truth through movement and shared expression.

Move with passion.
Move with honesty.
Move because your heartbeat matters.
