HDCC recap /// part 2 - Con days!

So Con was amazing! Little of con crunch on the evening before day 1 🤣

But me and @uc.flower.skull met a lot of new lovely people and befriended them!

Love the Alien Merch. You dutchies just get me 😩
Also help with the little things. I couldn't find with artist made what with three pieces. But they are gorgeous!

Also got some vendors stuff - don't hang me 🥹

Also surprisingly met fellow Austrians - either artists or just group members at stands - very lovely meeting you peeps there❣️

Also got to hold Biiiiirbs!!! And as a F1 fan stand next to maybe, probably, no one knew exactly from us, Max Verstappen car 👀✨

And as of tradition of my friend Andy, who is usually found in 18+ areas in Austria and German Cons. I sprouted a looooot of people 🫡

All in all amazing two days!

One year later and its time for another sappy mcm post 😌 Initially I was kinda bummed about not attending as an artist this time. And then came the stress of the cosplay i wanted to wear not being finished, and me kinda burning myself out again and other stuff, which made me a little nervous for this trip. But that didn't last very long because it was the best. Ive met so many people, artists and friends old and new, it has been such a joy to be back at this con. Eventhough not everything went according to plan and one of us had to miss out on stuff, doing this with my friends has been the absolute best. Travelling together, getting our cosplays ready together in the mornings, hyping each other up at our meetups, being super supportive when I was very nervous about wearing said cosplay, looking after each other in sickness and almost underground theft or whatever it was that guy was planning to do, seeing the Phantom and yelling about it, us being incredible wingmen, a liiiitle bit drunken shenanigans, and just in general having a really good time 🥺🫶 And you know i cant seem to go to London without weird stuff happening, and this was no exception. Doggy discount and the cigarette witch saga will forever live in my heart, just like the mcm afterparty 😌💖 Biggest thanks to my friends for making this a trip, con and party to remember, I love u guys 😤💖 Really hope to be back next year!!!

I made a bowl shaped like a friend's cat! 💚👀

Yesterday we had our yearly art exchange with @goudenstronk , a collective of friends who make art! It's a kind of secret Santa event, where we're assigned a friend to secretly make art for. I got @carpeline this year, and I didn't have to think hard about what to make! My original plan was to make two matching noodle bowls of her and her partner's two cats, Minty and Bob. But... Bowl nr. 2 didn't quite make it all the way through. So, I went extra hard on the remaining bowl! 💚 (And made a small additional sauce bowl to make up for it!)

Throwing larger objects is always a challenge for me, so I'm proud of myself for getting it done, and I even think this is my best bowl yet! I had some trouble affixing the ears (a drying crack showed up!! 🥹) but I was able to remedy this by rehydrating the clay and giving it some more tlc! All in all it was awesome to make and awesome to gift,

Mark didn't want me to part with it and badgers me to make two more of our own cats, so I think that'll be an upcoming project. 😤

Second slide is all artworks everybody made for the exchange! SO much variety, I'm so impressed with everyone! 😭
