See the Dance...Hear the Dance! It's out there.
'Dance of the Keeper' is out now as a 2-track with 'Welcome to One Man Town' live for @plectrum_

I'm excited to announce this song will form part of my 1st proper solo EP, titled 'All Being Well...', which will be out later in the year. 😁

A massive thank you to @fredabbottmusic for his outstanding production and musical powers. To @tomhobden for the most exquisite fiddle work known to human-kind. Also, shoutout to @streetmissionrecords for helping with this release and hopefully more to come. 🙏🏿

@zolibeau of @thecanopicardiff for the original photo for the artwork.🙏🏿

Henley for the best f-ing music video one could hope for.

@daveburnmusic Thank you for recording and the initial mix of the live track 🙏🏿

Listener- You have the most important part of all. I hope you get something from this release. There's no big machine behind any of this so your support and sharing makes all the difference. I thank you for your ears, eyes and hopefully your hearts. Now, go and keep an eye 👁

As part of the 'Dance of the Keeper' single release, I'm also giving you one of my favourite songs as track 2. 'Welcome to One Man Town' is one of the songs I'm proudest of and this version, recorded live for @plectrum_ was like a rebirth. I think I prefer this version, but don't tell younger me that 🤫
I hope you'll listen from tomorrow and it becomes a special part of your listening collection. All you need is in my bio🙏🏿🎶❤️

Nordic power folk created in London! Before I gathered my favorite musicians to a hang out jam recording in an old Norwegian house from the 15th century, we rehearsed it around a table in London. I created the song there, together with my great pal and musician friend, @daveburnmusic . Here’s a recording of the knights of the round table, by @plectrum_

Here's a kinda sorta #Tbt of the behind the scenes for when I filmed 'Five By Five' for @plectrum_ late last year.
Watch the full video and you'd never know all the sheep-hearding Simon and Dave had to do to for me to get over that bridge 😂

I hadn’t even planned for this song to be released at that stage, so I hope you've as excited to hear what the final versions sound like as I am for you. Is anything ever really finished though?

'Five By Five' is out on 12th July on all major download/ streaming platforms and you can pre-order on @bandcamp now and get an exclusive bonus track. Link in bio.

LOSING SLEEP IS OUT TODAY ✨ I loved recording this with my girls, @theblondebassist @emily_ linden and @laurawilliamsdrums SUCH a vibe recording all together in London with @longcroftrecording (full videos are coming soon!!)

In celebration of this release I did a lovely live session with @plectrum last week, we recorded a stripped back version of Losing Sleep in the woods. Absolutely loved doing this, playing the song in one take and in the way it was written. Watch the full version over on their YouTube (link in bio)

Thanks to everyone involved in the making of this song, @olliejonesphotography @stephen_kerrison @absolutelabelservices BIG love ❤️
