Raised by his grandmother. Inspired by Eddie Murphy albums. Now performing on Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu. Danny Plom’s (@plomsplums) comedy journey began in Seattle, where he grew up after his parents divorced young, filling his childhood with comedy albums that shaped his sense of humor. Right after high school, he moved to Los Angeles to chase stand-up comedy, eventually performing in thousands of shows at legendary venues like The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, and The Hollywood Improv. His TV stand-up debut came on Amazon Prime, and he later landed a co-starring role as Trent on ABC and Hulu’s “Station 19”. His film and television credits include “Not Another Church Movie,” “King Bachelor’s Pad,” and “Life Is Funny”. Beyond traditional media, Plom built a massive following as “plomsplums” on TikTok and Instagram, where his comedy explores Cambodian American identity and everyday absurdities. He co-hosts the viral podcast Afronoodles and appeared in DVAN’s “ÁCCENTED” series alongside acclaimed author Viet Thanh Nguyen. Plom continues touring, acting, and expanding his platform in comedy.
