Bubble Dream - @chonofficial 🫶 I know it’s a sloppy take, but I will work on this song for a few days, and post my progress, so stay tuned! I used @dustyaudioplugins for the tone. #mathrock #guitar #chon #guitarist

If you’re a drummer who claims that push pull technique can’t be used in a song, go practice

This CD Saturday we have one of my favorite albums of all time! Grow by Chon is an (almost fully) instrumental masterpiece that blends intricate guitar work under the disguise of some chill progressive math rock. This song Perfect Pillow is probably their biggest song and has a sick clean tone breakdown that was super new and fresh at the time of release!

Jordan and I have gotten to see Chon live many times before their hiatus and they have THE BEST crowd energy and most fun mosh pits to be a part of! Songs like Splash, Fall, and Book are some of my standouts while tracks like Can’t Wait and Echo add the rare vocals for Chon and get you right in the feels. Come back Chon we miss you!

Song: Perfect Pillow
