I’ve now eaten at @pluck.mnl 4x in the past 2 months. Safe to say I v much enjoy this place! Get the roast chicken and fight for the cabbage under.

other highlights include the flatbread and the lamb skewer!

Welcome to Part 1 of my month-long birthday celebration! Yes this is in jest, but I’ll probably end up making it true 😆

First order of business is Art

Rotisserie koji chicken (with fried potatoes in smoked sour cream, charred cabbage, chimichurri and chicken jus), fresh spaghetti al limone with anchovy cream, and flatbread with bonito butter from @pluck.mnl 🍊

Enjoying @typea.coffee’s new space ☕️

Kape na naman, sorry.

But I drink other things too! Like this cutie 🐰 from @florateabar

Something about this is oddly calming.

Tasted Arabica Sweet and Liberica during @kalsadacoffee’s Kalsada Cafe Weekend. I started with the milder Arabica Sweet, and ended with the punchy and more complex Liberica.

Miss Tere 🫰🏻 I was shy going in because I was alone, but they were so accommodating and even answered all my questions. At some point I had the HQ to myself which made me feel like I was part of the team 😆

Mirror check before eating pizza 🍕

@kodawari.ph is now in QC 🍧 Featuring Ate’s perpetual Tapsilog order (basta may Tapsilog sa menu, ‘matic na yan) and my Wellness Don for a hefty 50g of protein.

Not this elevator giving me Beautyplus curves 😩

What a clever way to use orange.

Combinations I didn’t think I’d like but loved: grilled apple, blue cheese and lyoner; and matcha and oreo pannacotta

I can’t not take a photo!!! IchiRuki was my first heartbreak eme

One of my favorite sentences ever is “Table for 1, please.”

Giving everyone their privacy with star stickers

Really good tonyu (soymilk and sesame-based ramen) and chikkin (pb chicken) from @suloyspace 🌿 Satisfied my craving for Japanese food without giving me bloat!

On a more serious note: Maybe it’s making up for the times I’ve been indifferent to my own birthday, but the more I age, the more I find myself becoming more intentional with how I celebrate it. I make it a point to enjoy food I normally don’t indulge in, do things I’ve always been intimidated by, linger in my favorite places, spend time with special people, and walk until I return to myself.

Every year comes with realizations but ang biggest takeaway ko ngayon is: hindi na talaga ako pang-buffet (pero ha

Testing samples, taking notes, and taking it out for a spin. This was us with the Long Clutch in Smoky Quartz months before anyone else knew about it. It’s finally up on HELLOHAGNE.COM, with only a few onhand pieces available 👋🏽
