@uhaul_gallery ABSOLUTELY FLOOOOORED WHAT THE HECK 🤯🤤😭💥‼️ dare I say this might be my fav exhibition/ fair/ display of works that I have seen in nyc…?! This concept was actually INCREDIBLE and this made me really feel like this is why New York is New York!!!!! The way all the different galleries were given the same structure to wirth with but each tweaked to their own ethos of the gallery was so creatively stimulating and really tickled my creative brain hoho BIG FAN

During Art Week, it was imperative I visit the U-Haul Art Fair because I staunchly admire their renegade-style exhibition programming and also wanted to support many friends who were involved in this year’s edition.

If you haven’t been before, you need to go the next time they’re around! The U-Haul Art Fair can be described in one way as the anti-art fair for its DIY, literally on the street approach to delivering arts access to the people by exhibiting works from the backs of U-Haul trucks (free admission for all attendees)! When I reviewed last year’s fairs in New York and Miami, I described it as akin to one big block party with that combination of art exhibitions, live performances, and even a mobile bookstore in a converted school bus.

When I visited last Sunday, it was pouring rain the entire afternoon. Despite the dreary weather, all of the participating artists, curators, and gallerists stood their ground and the shows went on with a great audience turnout!

Congratulations to everyone who participated! 🎉🎉🎉
