The good kind of data centres…

Swipe to see our favourites. 👉🏻

The local pub. The OG LLM.

Perhaps a little slop at times… but largely conversation, perspective sharing and good times. Real memories you don’t need to download.

Our favourite locals for a meal, drink and human-to-human chat… @healesvillehotel @grandhotelhealesville @wattsriverbrewing @herdbarandgrill @jaydenong_wines @barriquewinestore @fourpillarsgin @giammarino_wines @payten_and_jones @cavanaghswhiskyalehouse

Your local bookshop. Entertainment, information … and you never need to plug it in. Get a recommendation from a real human. At @verso.books they’ll never suggest books that don’t exist or slop written by a bot. Just quality literature.

Looking for information? Reliable facts and zero hallucinations at @yourlibraryltd … plus games, events, magazines and more.

Healesville locals know AI companions are not needed when you have the Friday morning queue at @plumandrye where you can enjoy a slow moment and good conversation with likeminded people. Other recommendations for a morning with friends: @peachy_healesville @mlkhealesville @wattsrivercafe @natures_cakes

The best way to use water… your garden. In fact, when designed well, your garden will give back to the local environment. We’ll always advocate for @ballard_landscape_design
More local human experts to share advice and better our community without splashing water around… @constructiveworks @revive2survive_rto21688 @redbridgeacupuncture

Schools and early learning centres will always be at the heart of education, and we are privileged to have so many to choose from. Robyn Jane Children’s Centre has helped hundreds of our children to thrive, and prepare them for the real world, regardless of the future of technology.

Healesville wouldn’t be the town it is without its community groups. A great community group shares knowledge, brings people together and provides a sense of belonging. Turning to people instead of screens is the way of the future. Thanks to HICCI, @healesvillefestivalinc U3A @yvaopenstudios and the long list of other local not-for-profits that put on events and provide a space for community to thrive.

Long Weekend Away Trip 🌳 Healesville + Marysville

Tagging where we went & what we ate. So beautiful this time of year, but I’ve also done this in Winter and thought it was amazing .. Close drive from Melbourne, feels so fresh.

Glamping tents were a win, right by the river, but we got abit washed out by the weather this weekend 🌳💚

Green views for miles. Took a little detour from Melbourne to breathe in the Dandenong Ranges. Those towering mountain ashes and rolling hills hit different. 🌳✨

Chasing waterfalls and towering trees in the Yarra Valley✨. Stevenson Falls and the Redwood Forest were pure magic. But honestly? The highlight might have been detouring back to Plum and Rye for their organic sourdough sandwiches. They were sooo yummy! 🥪🤤 The perfect day trip. 10/10 recommend.

So @plumandrye was 1000% worth the drive up to Healesville for delicious bread and vegan baked goods. I especially loved the cinnamon bun! And they make a mean iced cold brew.
