Last weekend I had the opportunity to be the onsite student massage therapist for SPL5 and I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the experience.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been in school for massage therapy for the last 2 years at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. I’m graduating this December and it’s been as rewarding as it’s been difficult. They really train massage therapist up here to have a medical base of understanding so that we can be ready for any condition.

Over the competition weekend i performed 39 x 10-30min treatments on various athletes with various conditions ranging from minor soreness to misalignment of joints. The part that surprised me the most was how much fun it was the entire time! I felt in my element and because of my orthopedic treatment education I was able to understand, assess and treat every person that came to my table. It felt like 39 practical exams but the fear was replaced with joy and confidence. There is nothing more fulfilling than both watching the parkour athletes leave the table in less pain AND watching them go on to podium in their events.

To be completely honest, school has gotten me to a point of mild burnout, but this last weekend did a lot to alleviate that. More than I could’ve expected.

Thanks so much to every athlete that came to see me, thanks to @sportparkour @origins.pk and @range.physio for having me in your space!

Special thanks to @oityler for the pics, to @renaedambly for modeling and @plus2clothing for the comfy tall guy shirt (check them out tall folks)!

I can’t wait to do it again :)

If you want to come see me at my school clinic, I work Monday/Friday and my booking link is in the Bio!

I bought my first house, and you already know the garage was going to be one of the most important rooms. 😂🏎️

Welcome to Part 1 of building my dream garage!

Before I could start transforming everything, the garage door needed some serious attention. It was clear it hadn’t been properly maintained, and I wanted to get everything serviced and taken care of before moving on with the rest of the build.

That’s where @consolidatedgaragedoors came in. We got the door serviced and upgraded the entire setup with a @liftmaster 98022 wall mount garage door opener. This thing is an absolute game changer and freed up the ceiling for what I have planned next. 👀

This is only the beginning. Wait until you see how this garage turns out.

New gym officially unlocked 🔓💪

Warhouse Barbell is absolutely insane. The equipment, atmosphere, everything is top tier… but the owner literally having to customize parts of the gym to accommodate a 7 footer takes it to another level 😂

I think I found my new home. 🦍 @warhousebarbell
