A perfectly aligned west coast trip with my good friend. Visited Astoria and Cannon Beach and it was amazing! Coffee, caves, coves, historic sights and natural beauty made this trip unforgettable. Till next time!

A little silly. A little sad. A little all over the place. Just like me.

That one time we did a Weezer set @thecrepeplace with Dreaming Ghosts and Henry Chadwick sitting in on rhythm/vox. So much fun! #bassist #weezer #holiday #surfwaxamerica #thegarage #rock #party

Laying down some crunchies in drop C with the Rick for a Dreaming Ghosts track. We had to tune the low E string down to C and it was so floppy! #bassist #studio #rickenbacker #4001 #crunch #recording #flannel #rock #sludge #bottomdweller #dropc

Well the polls have closed & in an unprecedented landslide victory, it looks like the beard will stick around for now. Come by @urbanicellarsc this Friday to see it in real life. My band & I will be playing there with @maitamusic & @hearsingforever.
Link in bio or scroll 👉 for info on flyer.

It’s also worth noting that due to a new rank choice voting system I’ll have no choice but to give myself an Abe Lincoln beard for an interim period once the beard has served it’s full term.

See you Friday Santa Cruz!

I’ve missed my band these past few months. Luckily we’ll be playing a show together in Santa Cruz in the near future! We’ll be at @urbanicellarsc with our talented friends @maitamusic & @hearsingforever on November 18th and your attendance is strongly recommended and bordering on mandatory. We at least very much hope to see you there! All ages welcome. Scroll for flyer and details. Link in bio!

Thanks so much to everyone from Santa Cruz and beyond who came out to @thecrepeplace this past weekend. It really meant a lot to see you all there and catch up. Seeing so many people that I’ve made music with, watched music with or have gotten to know through them watching us play over the years was a strong reminder of what an awesome & supportive music scene this town has. What a great last full band show before I move up north. Thanks to my band, @lucy_broom_ , @grrttdrums & @pmarmst777 as well as @meansunmusic & @smithandtegio for making it such a great night & to @thecrepeplace for having us! Also big thanks to @localtreasurehunter for taking these great shots!
Not sure when the next Santa Cruz full band show will be but we will be back! Hopefully sooner than later. Until then we say thanks for everything Santa Cruz!

Big life change… The incomparable Lauren June & I are moving to Portland, OR where we have found ourselves to be homeowners! I truly never thought I’d own a house & never really thought I’d leave Santa Cruz, which has been my home my whole life. I’ll miss Santa Cruz & everyone there who makes it great. That said we’re both really excited for this next big adventure!
Come wish us luck at @thecrepeplace on June 24th where my band & I will be playing with our pals @meansunmusic & @smithandtegio . I’m sort of treating it as an unofficial “see ya later”going away party. Hope to see you there!!
