POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Another year, another day I wish I could bottle up. ❤️🎗️

The hugs, the laughs, the smiles, the familiar faces, and everything in between. So many moments throughout the day that remind me why I keep coming back. This is genuinely one of my favourite days of the year!

Every year, we finish the walk arm in arm and head straight to the registration booth to sign ourselves up for the next one. Four years in, and I already can’t wait for 2027.

🫶🏼 A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated and supported us along the way. It’s pretty incredible what we can accomplish together, and I’m excited to see the impact we continue to make.

Oh ya &…

FK CANCER 🖕🏼❤️

This one was personal.

Someone I love deeply was diagnosed with cancer. There were days full of fear. But this walk was different — I walked it because they're through it. Treated. This was a walk for the win. 🔥

And it happened on September 19th — my daughter's birthday. My whole family supported me, which made it extra special. 🎂

I also walked for everyone still in the fight. For the waiting rooms, the hard days, the hope that keeps you going.

If you're in it right now: keep going. Wins happen. 💛

I joined the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation's Carry the Fire Walk — if this moved you, please consider donating. Link in bio.

Last weekend marked another half marathon conquered! It was a fantastic day with cool temps gracing our 21 km route through the downtown core. We walked with 1,600 walkers and raised $4,000,000 for cancer research and care at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre! For my 14th consecutive year, my heart was full because I got to spend time with new and familiar faces the entire day. Thanks to my supporters for helping me surpass my fundraising goal for an important cause. “Hope is contagious. Pass it on.” @pmcfwalk

Canadian Olympic bronze medalist ice dancer @pipergilles joined participants at the @pmcfwalk, sharing her personal connection to cancer and inspiring the community as our 2026 Walk Champion and impact speaker.

"Early detection gave me more options, more time and the opportunity to return to the ice. By coming together at The Walk, we are carrying the fire forward and helping create that same hope for every person facing cancer."

21K. DONE. ❤️‍🔥 and it was 🔥 @pmcfwalk

There really are no words to fully describe the day.
Walking 21K for the Princess Margaret is so much more than the distance. It’s the people you meet along the way. The stories you hear. The tears, the laughter, the hugs, the memories, the hope.

Every year, I am reminded just how many people are carrying their own story.

Some are walking for someone they love. Some are walking in memory of someone they’ve lost. Some are walking because they’re still fighting. And some are walking because they simply believe in the hope that one day, cancer won’t have the power it has today.

Being surrounded by so many incredible people and hearing even a small piece of their stories is both humbling and incredibly moving.

Every single year, I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support that surrounds this walk. Every donation, every message, every share, every word of encouragement—it all means more than I can put into words.
You helped me reach my fundraising goal.
You helped me get my 21K on.
And most importantly, you helped carry the fire forward.

I walk with so much gratitude in my heart—for the people who inspire me, for the stories that remind me why we keep showing up, and for every person who chose to support this cause.
21K for hope.
21K for the fighters.
21K for the survivors.
21K for the ones we carry with us. ❤️‍🔥
Thank you for walking beside me, cheering me on, and helping me carry the fire.
Until next year. ❤️‍🔥

This past Saturday your Carley’s Angels completed the 21km @pmcfwalk in support of @thepmcf.🎗️

The day started off inspired by olympic figure skating medalist @pipergilles which spoke directly to our why. And ended with our small but mighty team Carrying Carley’s Fire all the way to the finish!

Yesterday, I completed a 21 km walk in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. 🎗️❤️

It was a fun and meaningful day walking alongside Colleen, Karen, Kerry, and Gail. This marked my 17th year participating, and I’m incredibly proud to still be walking for a cause that means so much to me.

I made a promise to my Aunt Cheryl that I would keep walking until a cure is found. That promise hasn’t changed.

With PMCF no longer offering the 60 km walk, I’m considering taking my fundraising efforts to the Terry Fox Run and continuing Terry’s mission.

I promised to keep walking. I never promised where.

The mission continues. The promise remains. And I’m not done walking. 🎗️❤️

WE DID IT!! The half marathon Princess Margaret Walk to Conquer Cancer in memory of my Dad 💖🤍

The 21km route took us through Toronto’s beautiful and iconic neighbourhoods, many of which we have never (and probably would never) walked through before

We took an emotional and meaningful pause at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Pippa hitched a ride most of the route but she was a trooper the whole time. She customized her backpack with a bit of my dad’s pink shirt.

I wore one of my dad’s favourite sweaters. He loved wearing it and proudly pointing out to everyone and anyone “I’m the dad!” 💖🥰

Some tears were shed but overall it was an energizing, inspiring experience raising funds to create a world free from the fear of cancer.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our supporters for making this possible.

The 21km route included:
💜Harbourfront
🩷The Exhibition
🧡Queens Park
💛Kensington Market
💚University of Toronto (my dad’s Alma mater)
🩵The Annex
💜Rosedale
🩷Cabbagetown
🧡Under the Gardiner
💛The Distillery District
💚Old Town

Second year in a row participating for the half-marathon walk for @pmcfwalk . Thank you to everyone who donated this year as it means a lot for a cause I’m very passionate and committed to. Every one of us has had a loved one or someone near and dear to us affected by cancer, and you’ll see me doing this annually🙏♥️

I’ve extended and deferred my pledge so if anyone would like to contribute towards reaching the pledge total it would be greatly appreciated🤗

Love you all ♥️
