It was the best of times, it was the worst of times… 🥲 That’s a little dramatic, it was not the “worst”of times at the American Eventing Championships in Kentucky last month. Buttt it could have been better 😂 Ondine declined to politely participate in dressage on day one, and we earned a pretty rough score. On day two, I forgot to put on my big girl pants and didn’t give her a great ride around XC. On day three, we finally sorted ourselves out and rode double clear in the Rolex Stadium. Alas, we were (way) out of the ribbons when it was all said and done. But! We truly truly truly had a great time overall, learned a lot, and I am determined to get us back there! (The pic with the blue jump makes me laugh because her tail is straight up in the air, her ears are pricked forward and she’s locked in on the finish flags because she was probably very much looking forward to getting me off her back at that point because of how backwards I rode her that day 😂) Thank you, my Ondina, for being so kind and so patient with me. Thank you, @lhequestrian__ for believing in us and being so damn talented. And thank you to my barn friends who still allow me to hang out with yall even when I ride like an orangutan. Til next year! 🇺🇸

Very proud of these two horses! LH Peter Parker finished in 11th and won TIP Champion in Training. LH Mint Julep would have ribboned in Training as well, if his pilot hadn’t forgotten jump 7 in stadium 🤦🏼‍♀️ Both horses handled the biggest atmosphere they’ve ever competing in with absolute maturity. I am so pleased with both of them and I know they’re feeling good too! #AEC2026 . . . #lhequestrian #eventing #horseshow #kentuckyhorsepark 📸: @thezebragroup

Last weekend, we competed at the Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm! 🌱 - LH Mint Julep - Training - I ran Mint at a lower level this show to boost his confidence after a bobble during our first Prelim run. He was super, and it was fun to pilot him around a course he’d never seen before. All part of the process! Great run Minty! I had two clients with me, and it was a special show for me as their coach.  🥈 - LH Peter Parker - Training - Peyton came to me about three years ago and she was jumping cross rails. Now, she is learning the ins and outs of Training on her horse, Peter and cleaning up in dressage, too. Congrats, Peyton! 🩷 - Hold On Tight - Training - Lila came to me about two years ago, jumping about 2’. Now she is also riding the Training division really nicely on her horse, Lexi. She and Lexi will head to Auburn University this fall, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them! 🥳It is really cool to see two students who’ve put in the time and commitment and dedication move up the levels and find success. I also sourced both of their horses, both OTTBs, both produced by these kids, and I am incredibly proud. Congrats, ladies and ponies!  Next up: Full Gallop Farm HT this Sunday!

A great weekend at Stable View! 💚 - Omnipotent - Intermediate - AJ gave me his all from start to finish finishing in 6th and taking home the TIP award! I have been so eager to get back to this level, and couldn’t have asked for a better partner! Thank you, AJ! 🥉 - Kiss Me Kato - Training - My first outing with my new horse, Kato! She was lovely in all three phases, and we are learning more about each other every day! We finished on our dressage score of 28.5 to earn 3rd out of a large class of 31. 💚 - LH Peter Parker - Training - Peter was brilliant in his second training! We added just a rail to his dressage score of 26.8 to finish 6th and take home the TIP award in the same big class of 31. I cannot wait for @pmj.eventing to take back the reins and tackle the black numbers on this special TB! 🌱- LH Mint Julep - Mint and I would have finished in 2nd place in his Modified move-up, if his pilot didn’t skip jump #18 on XC. I was thrilled with how Mint felt on a very technical XC course. I am so proud of him! Mint, I’ll know the course next time! You won an amazing ribbon in my eyes! 🏎️ - Port Maria - @jbrighents and Revvy improved tremendously in SJ this weekend, which they’ve been working hard on at home. A miscommunication on XC bumped them out of the ribbons, but overall it was an excellent weekend for this very good pair. The pieces are coming together! Big thank you as always to @thezebragroup for the 🔥reel! Next up: Longleaf!

Regal loves to jump and she was so happy to be back doing her thing! Can’t wait to see how these two do this summer! 🫒 - Novice Rider - All I Need - Oliver and Trinity have been working hard at home! They put down a solid dressage test. They ran double clear XC but two rails in SJ bumped them just out of the ribbons this time. 🥇 - BN Rider - RREF Rubix - Rubix and Evan held first the whole weekend, and finished in their dressage score of 23.4! 🐎 - BN Rider Jr - Hold On Tight - Lila and Lexi’s first show together and Lexi’s first outing in 3 years!
