Lily/What is meant for me… the visualiser out tomorrow
🪻🪻

I originally wrote this jazz and classical ballad titled ‘blossom like a lily’ and i showed the song to jkarri and kwaku and remember jkarri saying the song is deep. It is a deep song.

I wrote about my observation on wanting something so badly.
To me this song reminds of human forgiveness it reminds to forgive myself and also points me in the direction of empathy towards others. This song is a spectacle that reveals that we all have dreams that we wish to real.

I feel like this song came to me before i knew how powerful the saying ‘what is meant for me will always be’ was.

In strong mystical ways, I feel my songs are gifts from a high power for my voice to carry.
After recently becoming independent, i wanted to shoot a create a visual using only the things I had, which is access to talented creatives, new and old friends and me as i am, no extra glam.
I learnt a lot during filming.
Grateful to a gracious team who showed up for me and the beautiful sunshine.

The visualiser is out tomorrow.

Lily/what is meant for me.. and #lavender is out now
