So much good stuff at the Mizna table today at the Twin Cities Book Fest. Including Laila Lalami's book from last night's reading. Also info on the upcoming Arab Film Fest. Stop by and say hi! #sesamecandy #tcbf15 #tcbf

Half of 2015 is almost over and I've been pondering my last six+ months and I realized I've had the greatest opportunity to meet three amazing female vocalists within less than a year. Thanks to the Dakota Jazz Club for bringing them to Minneapolis. Listening, watching, and studying you... WOW. Inspiring women from several different generations and backgrounds. Feeling blessed.
