There is nothing easy about being a goalkeeper but for this 9 year old it means everything! This is the position he has always wanted! He trains constantly and is improving! He plays up a year which means he has bigger and stronger boys kicking a ball at him!
He LOVES every minute if it!

Been working on staying square and keeping my eyes on the ball during 1v1s, and it felt good to see it come together. 🙌🏻#goalkeeper #practicemakesprogress #gametime #soccer

Went up against Catlin Gabel this past Friday, where we played hard! Definitely left it all on the field.

I’m taking the opportunity to play for both my school, Catlin Gabel, and FC Portland this Fall. Five games this past week and grateful for the ability to play midfield, defense and GK - earning 2 assists.
Back at GK Training today with Coach Keenan @pnwgoalkeeping working on cutbacks, 1v1s, and low-visibility shots.
