✨Six to Know: Women in Business✨

Today we celebrate #InternationalWomensDay and the incredible women and those who identify as women in our hood who show up every single day—running businesses, supporting families, building community, and somehow juggling a million things at once. 💪✨

This year’s theme, #GiveToGain, reminds us that when we give our time, energy, care, and support to others, we help create stronger communities for everyone. And the entrepreneurs in our community live this every single day.

They give to their families. They give to their businesses. They give to their neighbours and to the community they help shape and grow.

Today we’re highlighting six women-owned businesses to know, but the truth is there are so many more incredible women and women-identifying entrepreneurs in our hood doing amazing things every day.

We also wanted to go a little beyond the usual business questions. So we asked each of these women a mix of typical and slightly unorthodox questions—the kind that help tease out a little more about who they are beyond their businesses.

These conversations matter, and we deserve to have them out loud, together.

I’m endlessly grateful for this community and the privilege of sharing these mornings with you.
