Hey!

I’m Peter, Bronwyn’s cousin.

I’m spending some time here at ColdSpring helping out around the farm and, more importantly, documenting the day-to-day work that goes into these programs, the horses we care for, and the mission behind all of it.

For those who are new here, one of the things that makes ColdSpring different is simple: we do not breed our mares.

That means no foal is brought into the world simply to make another mare available. No throwaway foal.

This program has been operating since 2018, and every year more people have joined the mission to help change the way the equine industry approaches nurse mares and orphan foals.

Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing a lot more of what actually happens around here. The daily work, the horses, the people, the difficult moments, and hopefully plenty of good ones too.

We can’t wait to bring you along and, hopefully, inspire a few more people to join the mission.

Peter Watts

Some people see a pasture. We see a classroom. A place where kids trade screen time for sunshine, where horses become teachers, and where families slow down long enough to hear birds instead of notifications.

Whether you’re here for a farm tour, horseback riding lesson, pony ride, or an educational afternoon, we can’t wait to welcome you! Book your visit today at wildkidacres.com!

We are AGAIN so proud of America’s favorite maiden OCELLI!! ❤️

This horse loves to run more than any horse we’ve ever been a part of and he picked up another $120,000 in @preaknessstakes 151.
Making his total earnings $729,800!! 💰

Not bad for a $12,000 horse that still has his maiden condition! 😜
Who knows where we might see him next!
🤷‍♂️🎪

I’m Stephanie Popescu
I’m a teacher, mom, advocate, and candidate for Maryland State Senate.
For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching young children and working closely with families in our community. That experience has shaped how I approach leadership with patience, compassion, optimism, and a focus on bringing people together.
I’m running because I believe Maryland should be a place where families can thrive, schools are strong, communities feel safe, and government stays focused on practical solutions that improve people’s daily lives.
I’m excited to share more about this campaign, this community, and the future we can build together. 🤍

Take it from me… you could be a total newbie when it comes to the rodeo world and still have the BEST time at Circle R Arena 🤠 (give them a follow ➡️ @circlerarena)

It’s right in Reisterstown, Maryland - and it’s one of those places that reminds you how much magic is happening in your own backyard. From barrel racing and bull riding to family-friendly events and local competitions, Circle R is all about bringing people together around horses, hard work, and that classic Western spirit.

You don’t need to know a thing about rodeo to enjoy it… just show up, soak it in, and let yourself get a little bit country for the night. There’s something about being out there - the dirt, the energy, the community - that just hits different.

If you’re looking for something fun, local, and a little unexpected… this is it.

Go check them out, support a Maryland gem, and give them a follow to see upcoming events + behind-the-scenes of the rodeo world 🐎✨
