💥 We are now taking adoption applications for this amazing 9 month old #gsp Rocky. 💙

Rocky came to @canerossorescue after spending way too much of his puppyhood outside without the attention, enrichment, or love that every dog deserves. That’s no life for a puppy, so of course we said yes.

Now he’s in foster and discovering that couches are comfy, people are awesome, and apparently you’re not supposed to launch yourself at everyone you meet. He’s learning that humans have these weird things called “rules” and “manners.” He’s trying. Really.

But let’s not forget…

He’s a 9-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer. He’s basically a toddler who drank six espressos.

Rocky needs someone who can laugh at the chaos, keep working on his manners, give him plenty of exercise, and understand that good dogs aren’t born—they’re made. He’s doing great and just needs to keep going.

Because underneath all that puppy energy is an incredibly smart, goofy, affectionate pup who’s well on his way to becoming an amazing dog!

We are officially begging the universe to help us find Lucy’s person. 💔

Lucy cannot keep living in boarding. It’s not a life. Day after day in a kennel while she should be in a home… it’s breaking our hearts because we KNOW her people are out there somewhere.

💵 It’s also breaking our bank…boarding isn’t free and we need her to find her home so we can continue to save more dogs. This has exceeded “expensive” and we’re on a mission to find her her home!

Lucy has been with @canerossorescue far too long, and it’s not because she isn’t amazing. It’s because she takes a little time to trust new people. She’s not instant — but once she loves you, she LOVES you deeply.

She’s not the dog who meets you once and acts like you’ve been best friends forever. She takes a minute. A little patience. A little understanding that, just like people, dogs need time to understand things too.

She is beautifully trained, knows her commands, has recall, obedience, and so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to look past the first five minutes and see the amazing dog underneath.

We know her person is out there. We HAVE to find them.

🙏Please share Lucy. Please help us get her out of boarding and into the home she desperately deserves.

🩷Lucy’s details:
5 years old
37 lbs
Brittany Spaniel/Pointer mix
Potty trained & crate trained
Good with other dogs—LOVES to play with toys and do zoomies!
No cats, please

This little guy has found himself at a small shelter with limited resources and we’d like to bust him out. It’s loud and cold and no place for a puppy to be living. Let’s help him!

🙏We need a foster or adopter home for him to go to! We will take care of all vaccinations, neutering and microchipping, we just want to help him move on to a good dog life outside the shelter!

💔 Hatty Needs a New Home 💔

Hatty was adopted from us a year ago and has been in a loving home ever since. Her family adores her — and they’re heartbroken to be returning her. This isn’t a decision made lightly; life has simply hit hard, and they’re out of options and aren’t keeping her.

But the truth is… so are we.

We want to help Hatty — but we don’t have anywhere for her to go. @canerossorescue doesn’t have a magical supply of open foster homes waiting for returns. Every boarding kennel and foster spot is full.

If we can’t find a safe place for Hatty, she’ll have to go to the shelter, and that’s the last thing we want for her. She’s been loved, she’s been home, and she deserves better than to end up back where she started.

Hatty is a wonderful, loyal companion who just needs another chance. She loves walks, car rides, pets, and hanging out on the patio — she’s the perfect buddy for someone who wants a calm, affectionate friend. She’s also super smart and eager to please.

She’s healthy, up to date on vaccines, takes monthly Trifexis, and has no known medical issues.

Please — if you can foster or adopt, or even share her story — it could change everything for her.

🩷Hatty
4 years old
Pointer/Shepherd mix
52 lbs
Good with dogs and kids
Potty trained, spayed, vaccinated

Available for adoption: Dallas!

This little Pointer puppy is fantastic! He’s a wonderful family dog, loves other dogs and would be an amazing addition to any home.

Dallas is a smarty! He knows how to sit, play fetch, and certainly knows what “treat” means!

Dallas gets along great with his furry foster sibling. He does not invade his space, and is not food or toy aggressive.

He is crate trained but may have something to say about it for a minute or two before he falls asleep.

Let’s be real — someone’s about to hit the jackpot with this pup. Scoop him up now before someone else does!

Good with cats and kids!
