So, my word of the year is visibility… I don’t think I fully understood what that would look like when I chose it 😂 Last year I volunteered at OUToberfest and left wanting to do more for my community and create spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and celebrated This year, I was responsible for bringing it to life. I’d never organized anything (literally anything) on this scale before, and between the planning and inevitable chaos, I had to trust myself to figure it out (even when I had no idea how) Aaannndddd luckily we did 🥹 I think that’s what visibility has been teaching me.. say yes before you feel ready, trust yourself to figure it out, and show up authentically. Let people see that there are others just like them chasing big things too! As a Realtor, it’s obviously my job to help people find a place to call home. But home is about so much *more* than four walls and a roof. It’s about belonging, the people who show up for you and the community you get to be part of I’m so grateful for EVERYONE who helped bring OUToberfest to life. This experience pushed me outside my comfort zone and reminded me that we’re often capable of a lot more than we think 🫶🏼 📸 @catbadillo ✨ @pridebrazos
