“You can waste your lives drawing lines or you can live your life crossing them.” - Shonda Rhimes

This day (and every day) is to all the women who have inspired me to stand up for what’s important, regardless of the norm.

The women who motivate me to take action for what is right, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed and the consequences are hefty.

The women who remind me what being a woman is all about — showing up exactly as you choose to be regardless of the pressures and standards placed upon you.

Thank you to these women in my life: near, far, and those I’ve never met. Thank you for being a role model to me and to my daughters because with women like you in the world I know their future will be okay.

Women, now more than ever, we have to keep showing up as our full, powerful, badass, feminine selves because the world needs it.

Happy International Women’s Day. Thank you for inspiring me to write about how much I frickin love women!

I am so sad that it was impossible to get every woman who has impacted me in this video 😭

posted for the first photo but added the rest to prove i do have friends. get you a friend who holds your leg so the foot shell doesn’t get sandy. who snowboards better than you (she won chilean chinese downhill. like sorry the bragging rights are hers). who will eat jars of manjar with you. who will encourage you to use the wheelchair when needed. who will rock a solid goggle tan with you & not judge you when you tried to lie to a flight attendant about your age but accidentally said an age lower than your actual age 🫠 okay maybe she did judge me but honestly that was warranted. anyway i have the best friends & itll be 11 years in February & we both have 2 kids now so that’s pretty neat.

Why yes, I did change into a full white sweat suit about an hour after the ceremony 😂. Kept the shoes on though!
Still reliving these memories every day 😍
