Happy Halloween...from the AUTOPSY room 😱😱😱 Wishing you all a fun but safe Halloween - you don’t want to end up in the morgue unless it’s like us for a Halloween murder mystery event at the @policemuseum We attended “Alice: A Murder Mystery” interactive theatre experience based on a real unofficially solved crime that took place in our city in October 1929.! We got to learn about the history of Vancouver in the city’s old morgue which has now been converted into a museum & stage!! Fabulous execution and really engaging cast 👍👍👍 (scroll through to see photos of the cast and creator of the event who put in 2000 hours of research into the project 😱😱😱)
And YES those ARE bats on that red velvet turband AND a new blue velvet turband!!! The latter made to match a true vintage 1940s blue velvet dress purchased from @laceembrace

Inspection ready!

The New Castle County Police often holds inspections. These are done to ensure that the officer is ready for duty.

Visited the Vancouver Police Museum the other day. Did not bring any camera with me because I wanted to put the iPhone 11 to the test. Here's the result!

Part 6: Vancouver ✅
After our debacle last year, this was the first time all 4 members of the Smith family were in Vancouver for more than 24 hours! Ellen is a great host - so keen to show us what she loves about the city she has chosen as home. I insisted on returning to the @policemuseum and seeing my sea otter friends (@vanaqua!)
(1) Steveston (otherwise known as Town of Steve’s) (2) on the top of Grouse Mountain (3) a salmon swimming upstream at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery (4) Stanley Park (5) my pals at @vanaqua (6) my dad at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (7) Queen Elizabeth Gardens (8) my dad being a Bobby at the @policemuseum (9) walking round False Creek (10) Richmond Night Market #vancouver #beautifulbritishcolumbia #britishcolumbia #bc #steveston #grousemountain #salmon #fish #salmonhatchery #capilanosalmonhatchery #stanleypark #beaverlake #seaotter #seaotters #vacouveraquarium #oceanwise #capilanosuspensionbridge #capilanosuspensionbridgepark #queenelizabethgardens #policemuseum #falsecreek #walking #richmondva #richmondnightmarket #family

Rich in history, the west coast of Canada is a special place. A detectives paradise. Although not evident to the untrained eye, these landscapes we walk daily house some of the countries biggest mysteries. Here, there are stories to be told, and I am here to share them through a detective’s lens. 🕵🏻‍♀️
