A CALL TO ACTION BRADFORD MUSIC SCENE 🔥

Never ever post a 10 minute video here they said...

Shall we prove them wrong? Can we?

This is 10 minutes of pure Bradford Music, venues & events packed into a little showcase video

We asked people what they thought 'Bradford music' was... and we'll be honest they were mostly wrong!!! 😂🙈

What a surprise 😮 so we thought we'd better show them!!!

On Thursday 29th October we see the launch of the Bradford District Music Strategy, it's a plan for the future and it's a celebration of what we've already got going on, because it's huge, Bradford is amazing. And this next bit is going to make it even better! ❤️👌

This footage was taken from around 2024 to March 2026 and you'll see lots of familiar faces. It's all from one mobile phone and all sound is recorded live.

Please share this with everyone. This is a tiny taster of what Bradford’s music community looks like and it's bloomin brilliant!

Spread the word! Bradford's coming for ya!!

Locked in and ready for tomorrow night's show on @louderthanwarradio

Wed 23rd September 9-11 pm

Two pre- release plays + a '3 from 1' from @dexysofficial

+ Tracks from all those pictured and loads more great music - with the usual bias towards new music from the Island of Ireland - the North of England and beyond.

Some gorgeous photos taken by @hybrideyes_photography during the recording sessions for album number 4 at @salvationmusicstudiosbtn!

The album was recorded with 27 musicians, 2 engineers, culminating in 9 hours of recordings. The music will be compiled from these recordings as a 45 minute album. No AI in the world could even touch something as human as the experience of recording with real people with real creative souls.

SELLING FAST ⚡ @sexmasks will headline our upcoming Hidden Herd show at @thehopeandruin on Thursday 10th September alongside @politebureaux, @humaneband and @minordentsmusic 🔥

Championed by @nmemagazine as “Australia’s next big export”, Sex Mask are a three-piece alternative post-punk band from Melbourne. Comprised of Wry Gray (vocals/lyrics), Vinnie Moncada (drums/production) and Kaya Martin (guitar/synth), the band’s electrifying fusion of proto-post-punk and writhing no-wave cool has drawn comparisons to artists ranging from The Strokes to Bloc Party to Idles. With millions of Spotify streams to their name, Sex Mask have earned glowing praise from @readdork — who featured them as Hype cover stars — as well as @bbc6music, @thelineofbestfit and @clashmagazine. Experiencing Sex Mask live is all gas, no brakes. Renowned for their urgent, propulsive and wildly fun performances, the band have toured Australia with @sleaford_mods and the UK with @radiofreealiceband, while also supporting @fcukers__, @bigspecial_ and @fat_white_family. They have also appeared at festivals including @sxsw, @greatescapefest, @d2dfest and @endoftheroad.

Don’t miss out! Get one of a limited number of cheap list tickets for this or any of our upcoming shows on DICE with promo code HIDDENHERD (link in bio).
