Mobile has a way of throwing some weather curveballs at you. That’s why we said YES and 👏made it happen👏 when this bride called with an emergent need to relocate her wedding due to Hurricane Isaias. It’s a scary thing to plan for an outdoor wedding and have to shift it indoors, at a different location, within 72 hours. With the teamwork of everyone involved, we were able to pull it off! The space quickly transformed into a beautiful wedding and all we can say is… WOW. Great job to EVERYONE who made it happen! From the sweetest little flower girl to a dance floor that never slowed down, Madison & Chris’ wedding was filled with personality from beginning to end. 🤍 Their youngest guests had some of the most memorable roles, including Chris’ 11-year-old nephew, who proudly gave himself the title of “Junior Best Man,” and Madison’s 8-month-old niece, who made her way down the aisle in a wagon pulled by another nephew. 🥹⁠ ⁠ Madison’s bridal look was just as special. Her gown from @thewhiteroombirmingham featured the dreamiest dimensional floral details and an elegant off-the-shoulder silhouette, while her bridesmaids complemented her beautifully in dresses from @bellabridesmaidsbham. ✨⁠ ⁠ After a lively second line led guests from the ceremony to the celebration, the party carried on all night. Madison & Chris even skipped the traditional slow song for their final private dance, choosing “Quittin’ Time” by Zach Bryan instead. That’s a wrap for the Shemar James Annual Football Camp for the year of 2026! First and foremost, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Faith Academy for introducing my husband to Christ as well as loving him as he is! Thank you for being a big part of who he is today. I love visiting Faith because you can truly feel the presence of God on your campus and in your staff. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and warm smiles. May God continue to use you for his works. I just know that so many lives will be healed and restored thanks to Faith. We need more genuine schools like this in the community. Thank you for allowing us to use your facilities for our camp. This year was truly one to remember! Thank you @sportstarsnyc ! We are truly never alone in any challenge or obstacle because you guys have been such a huge help! Thank you for only being one call away, acting fast whenever we need it, & treating us like family. Nothing you guys do for us goes unnoticed. Thank you to @thecarterlife35 & @c3sports1 for always being so supportive! You helped shape my husband into who he is today and you’ve never stopped loving and supporting him! Thank you for bringing out coaches and providing help at this camp. Lastly, I want to give a HUGE shoutout to my husband as he spent his birthday in his hometown giving back to the community. This man could’ve been anywhere in the world and chose to give back! His love for his city is truly heartwarming and just says so much about his character. He loved spending time with the kids and putting smiles on their faces. You truly are a blessing from God. May you continue to walk into your calling while leaving a legacy behind for the youth to remember. You are so special & God loves you so so much!
