I am extremely thankful that I have a rooftop in my building because during this time, it's my go to place for fresh air and clarity. I am going through different phases as I'm sure you are all as well. Sometimes I wake up and I feel amazing and other days, I don't feel like doing anything. One of my most natural states.

During the last few weeks my productive routines have been disrupted and I've even felt a bit down at times. When life events like Covid19 come up, changes ripple along every part of your life..which is uncomfortable for most people.
I went to the park for a short time and had fun practicing some kicks. When I saw some of the pictures taken of me, I was reminded of how I wasn't practicing my martial arts as much due to some habit shifts. Practicing is something that calms and refocuses me. Even after a a bit of practice in the park, I felt MUCH of my mental pressure decrease and was more at peace with myself.

I am giving myself permission to let go of my fears, doubts and insecurities. I am learning more everyday to trust my inner guidance as I am working to create my own path forward. I have been holding onto a confession for three years and I have been meaning to share my story for the longest time. I have finally found the courage and strength to do so and I figured the best way to do it was through my podcast since it’s a platform where I can actually be heard. ⁣

In this last episode and second season of @thecityconfessions, I am sharing my biggest health confession. I share my story in the hopes that I am able to inspire you all to be comfortable with pain, vulnerability and life's struggles. This was a difficult episode for me to record because I am absolutely open, raw and honest with not only my feelings, but what I went through and how it affected me then and how it affects me now. I believe in timing and I know in my soul, that this is the time to finally share my truth and my journey so I can use it to do good in the world. ⁣
